Today, after nine long years of enrollment in graduate school, my dissertation for my PhD in Chemistry is deposited and I am officially Dr. Kamalia!
In honor of the occasion, I’d like to share some outfits I put together featuring the Loremaster’s Colors tabard.

Basic view of the tabard. I’m wearing a Thunder Bluff doublet underneath and the Knitted Belt over — if you wear the tabard over total nekkidness, it has a lovely gap right where a belt should go….

The Durable Robe has a great “monk copying manuscripts” look, ideal for a scholar of any sort. Another monkish sort of robe is the Troll/Forsaken Neophyte Priest robe (Alliance equivalent: Harvester’s Robe from a Westfall quest).

With the Earthborn Kilt and the Tome of the Dawn, a low-level Scribe book. Wearing the one of the Primitive Kilts, the Ancestral Robe, or the Stonecloth Robe would give a very similar appearance to this outfit.

Playing up that big yellow exclamation point with the Bright Yellow Shirt, Blue Overalls, and Weathered Fishing Hat. Since you can’t really see the top of the Blue Overalls, the Royal Trousers or Azure Silk Pants would also be great choices for the legwear. Any brown hat in this style would be fine — the fishing hat is simply the version of this hat that I happen to have. The off-hand is the Mystic Tome, another low-level Scribe book.

Ready to study in my favorite comfy sweater, the Frost-Rimed Cloth Vest/Seer’s Padded Armor, Royal Trousers, and Steamworker’s Goggles. Glasses make a great accessory for a Loremaster-themed outfit. Engineers can wear the Flying Tiger Goggles for the same effect. If you don’t have access to the first two pairs of goggles I mentioned, you can wear the Spectrecles from Shadowmoon Valley or the Brewfest goggles.

This combination of Rustic Workman’s Shirt, Durable Trousers, and Brown Brewfest Hat makes me think of an old-fashioned university professor… something like Jo’s Professor Bhaer.

Lady Wolf, the Master of the Loremasters in Dalaran, is wearing the Lesser Wizard’s Robe. I’m not sure what her shoulders are; if you can find them, they’d be the perfect finishing touch for your Master of Lore garb.
When I make outfits for Tauren I generally neglect the footwear. For other races, I’d suggest brown shoes (such as the Patchwork Shoes) for the outfits with kilts or robes, Brewfest Boots/Slippers or any brown boots of your choice for outfits using trousers, and Dress Shoes for the formal Lesser Wizard’s Robe outfit.
Congratulations, madam Doctor!
