This is Keija. She is a level 27 Warrior and has never set foot in a battleground in her life.

And yet, here she is, purchasing a true Warrior’s mount, the Black War Kodo, from the PvP mount quartermaster in Orgrimmar.
I groaned at first when Keija decided she wanted a Black War Kodo. It had been agonizing enough to get Kamalia’s 30 tokens each from Warsong Gulch, Arathi Basin, and Alterac Valley for her Black War Kodo. But then a wonderful thing happened — the battleground marks were phased out, and all PvP reward items were made purchasable with Honor points. And I found out about the Wintergrasp Commendation, a lovely Bind-on-Account item worth 2k Honor, purchasable for 30 Stone Keeper’s Shards — a boon for someone who wants some of the cosmetic PvP rewards, but hates PvP.
With the Stone Keeper’s Shards they already had, Kamalia and Kerisa were able to get Keija halfway to the 50k Honor she needed for her kodo. After that, it took about a week and a half of running Heroics for an hour or so each day, starting when Horde had just won Wintergrasp, for Kamalia to accumulate enough shards to purchase the rest of the Wintergrasp Commendations Keija needed. It was so easy that I might keep at it for a little longer, to allow Keija to pick up a Scout’s Tabard, as well.
