Several months ago, I took advantage of the Stonekeeper’s Shards-to-BoA Wintergrasp Commendation PvE activity-to-PvP purchasing power conversion to buy a Black War Kodo for my then level 27 Warrior. I managed to get Keija up to level 36 before the Shattering, the level she needed to be to wear the shoulders for her Bluffwatcher RP set. Then she idled in Thunder Bluff again, banking, while Kregga noodled around at the Argent Tournament and took her sweet time getting to level 85. Even after Kregga reached level 85 and took over primary banking duties, Keija stayed in Thunder Bluff, waiting for me to get Kaohana leveled through Desolace. Keija had been questing in that zone before the Cataclysm and was still of an appropriate level to return to it, but I want to play through Shattered Kalimdor “in order”, so Keija’s questing is on hold until her little sister catches up.
Then patch 4.1 brought cooking quests to Thunder Bluff and Undercity!
I’d picked up cooking with Keija during Pilgrim’s Bounty, so it was an easy thing to do the Thunder Bluff cooking quest with her each day.

Little by little, the XP added up, until this week Keija finally reached the long-awaited level at which she could learn Journeyman riding.

At last, Keija could start riding her long-anticipated Black War Kodo!

Although she has been serving Thunder Bluff faithfully as a Bluffwatcher all this time, now she really feels like a true Warrior.
I also picked up cooking & fishing with Kivrinne, so I could look at the Undercity dailies. Eventually, I’ll get around to getting cooking & fishing with one of my Dwarves and one of my Night Elves so that I can look at the Ironforge and Darnassus dailies, too. The Undercity cooking dailies are quite revolting, though I was amused by how one of the cooking dailies (not the one shown below) dovetails with one of the fishing dailies.

Apparently, Orcs will eat anything.
“Apparently, Orcs will eat anything.”
Well, yeah.
Except brussel sprouts. Them things is nasty.
