I’m participating in a Transmogrification fashion design contest hosted by The WOW Debutante! The challenge was to create “the transmogrification outfit you think looks the coolest” — a simple prompt, but one that took a lot of thought to meet! The other participants are Kirina and Effraeti. Effraeti has put together a gorgeous Shaman kit, and Kirina’s entry is frighteningly brilliant. Go take a look at the entries and cast a vote for your favorite!

I’m eagerly awaiting the final smorgasbord display of the Warcraft Christmas Cookie Exchange hosted by Disciplinary Action. I submitted one of my favorite cookie recipes, and pictured above are the results from the recipe I received.
ETA: The results are in! and they all look SO yummy!

I did the Darkmoon Faire with so many alts that pretty soon I was playing it with the sound off because even though the Faire music is cool, I’d gotten tired of it. I only did the carnival games every day with Ketura, who wants the Darkmoon Cub pet. With all the other toons, I just did the profession quests and a single round of the carnival games. In future months, I probably will not take quite so many alts to the Faire. At the end of the week, I took a low-priority alt to the Faire and left her there, just to see what would happen. When I logged in with her yesterday, the Darkmoon Faire loading screen bar went to full, then transitioned immediately into the Kalimdor loading screen, and my toon zoned in at the Faire portal staging area in Mulgore.

Whenever an alt reaches level 70, I like to take her to the Caverns of Time and walk into Old Hillsbrad to find out what she looks like as a Human. I see that I will now have to start taking alts to the Well of Eternity at level 85 to find out what they look like as Night Elves. I am glad that Kamalia’s kaldorei visage doesn’t have the vapid face. I have only run the new heroics once, though, with Kamalia, and I haven’t bothered with LFR at all. I know that Kerisa needs the badges and drops even more than Kamalia does — I’d like to get her into 2pc T12 for Boomkin and then start working on building a Tree set — but I just haven’t felt like LFDing. Maybe now that the Darkmoon Faire is over for the month, and all my lower level alts aren’t distracting me quite as badly, I’ll feel like spending some non-raid evenings in LFD with Kerisa.

Around Thanksgiving, it occurred to me that a handful of other members of ES live in the same greater metropolitan area as BTH and I do. So I invited them all to come to our apartment for a little Christmas get-together of brunch and board games on the 10th. We were sad that the guys couldn’t make it, but we had a great time visiting with the sisters Kithandra and Ildara. BTH and I made blueberry pancakes and fruit salad, and we played Killer Bunnies and Ticket to Ride. It’s fun to now have faces to match with their voices, and we look forward to doing this again sometime!
That last picture is amazing! The wowheads look totally natural :B And the bear made me lol.
Lol, thanks! I’m glad you approve of my 1337 photoshop skillz
Killer Bunnies is AMAZING!!! We’ll be busting that out again for New Year’s. I think I’m up to the Green deck in the original game…can’t recall at the moment.
Seriously jealous of Ticket To Ride. I’ve wanted (it badly) to play it for some time as I’ve heard amazing things.
Also now trying to figure out how I missed out on the baking awesomeness.
Funny thing is, BTH *hates* Killer Bunnies. He doesn’t like how, in the end, the winner is determined entirely by luck. We were given the game as a wedding present by one of his siblings who loves it, and hadn’t even taken it out of the plastic wrapping in 4 1/2 years, until Kithandra decided she wanted to try it.
But Ticket to Ride, yeah, that’s an awesome game. We have the version with a map of Germany, because BTH went on his mission there.
The only thing I don’t like about Bunnies, is people will deliberately close the market (and keep it that way) for fearing of not being able to acquire carrots. It can make the game go on for a ridiculous amount of time. As for the random factor, that’s precisely why many of our friends enjoy the game.
By the way, while I cast my vote elsewhere I did want to comment on the awesomeness of your ‘Mog outfit.
