IRL guild dings level 5

Five years ago — to the day of the week, even, thanks to two leap years in the interim — BTH and I were married for time and eternity.

We’ve had some ups and downs, some trials and challenges, of course, but overall, it has been wonderful. Whenever I think about it for more than a few moments, I cannot help but be grateful to have an eternal companion who is such a perfect counterpart for me.

And, of course, without BTH I wouldn’t be playing WoW and wouldn’t have met all of you, either. Kamalia’s birthday is about a month away, and she will be five this year, too!

Congratulations. For the sake of coincidence ten years ago today I married my wife in a building just like the one behind you. I commend you on your choice of days to get sealed.

  I thought about using “sealed” in the post text, but decided that might be a little too much jargon. Did you get married at Mt Timp, too, or one of the other similar ones?

    We were sealed in Nauvoo. I love the Mt Timpanogas Temple OT is a beautiful place.

    Oh, that’s a beautiful one, too! You must have been among the first couples to get sealed there after it was dedicated — lucky you!

    We were very lucky the redhead and I are from Minnesota and Michigan respectively so it was a good spot. It was only it’s second day open.

@Erinys — Thanks! I made it myself — the pattern was quite simple, and I had some expert help with altering it to fit me better from my bishop’s wife, a grand master seamstress and prize winning art quilter.
@Cymre — TY! It was either replace our faces with WoW faces or make the picture really small, so I went with making it really small
