A collection of Transmogrification Template Kits actually worn in-game by my Gnome and Goblin Mages. I will update it whenever I change my in-game TTK. Items that are no longer obtainable are marked with an asterisk (*).
Elder Lesser Wizard

Elder’s shoulders belt gloves & boots, Lesser Wizard’s Robe, Long Silken Cloak
The helpful chatting streetcorner wizards in Dalaran (e.g. Emeline Fizzlefry) are wearing this robe, but I was feeling too lazy to hunt up a summons, so Kelilla had to take her pictures at the old Dalaran site, instead.
Holly and Ivy

Swoop-Tail Shoulders, Ivycloth Tunic, Silver-Thread Sash, Crimson Silk Pantaloons, Buccaneer’s gloves & boots, Silver-Thread Cuffs, Shimmering Cloak
If I can ever manage to get Liza leveled up enough to wear a pirate hat, then this outfit would become the Smokywood Pastures Smuggler.
Astral Knot Bauble

Whitemane’s Chapeau*, Greenweave shoulders, Astral Knot Blouse*, Captain Sanders’ Sash, Crimson Silk Pantaloons, Shimmering gloves & boots, Aurora bracers
The Astral Knot Blouse, which was awarded from the Alliance version of a now-obsolete Mage class quest, originally looked like the Aurora chestpiece with the skirt of the Astral Knot Robe, the other choice of reward from the same quest. I’m not quite sure when the graphics changed so that this chestpiece now causes the pants-slot item and the cuffs of the boot-slot item to appear as a wierd sort of skirt. Fortunately, it does take the Transmogrified appearance of the pants and boots, and not the appearance of the items that are actually equipped. At any rate, if you don’t have the Astral Knot Blouse, just use the Aurora chestpiece with the Crimson Silk Pantaloons, and you’ll probably look better!
The Red Pointy Hat or any green cowl might be good alternative hats.
Darkmoon Magician

Elder’s hat vest belt & pants, Silk Mantle of Gamn*, Shimmering gloves & boots, Aurora bracers, Cloak of the Darkmoon Faire, Green Holiday Shirt, Greater Magic Wand, Spellbinder Orb
Use the Gossamer shoulderpads to retain the white look of the Silk Mantle of Gamn, or use the Elder’s or Hibernal shoulders or the Slavehandler Amice to match the greens and purples.
Whitemane’s Power

Whitemane’s Chapeau*, Silk Mantle of Gamn*, Robe of Power, Captain Sanders’ Sash/Apothecary’s Waistband, Heavy Linen Gloves, Shimmering/Ivycloth Boots
A day or two after patch 5.0 went live, I was running the remodeled Scarlet Monastery with a max level character and saw High Inquisitor Whitemane drop both Whitemane’s Chapeau and Whitemane’s Embroidered Chapeau at the same time. I should have screenshotted it! Apparently that was a bug that’s since been fixed, because Wowhead now reports that the original red version of Sally Whitemane’s iconic hat is no longer available. :`(
I recommend the Red Pointy Hat or Crimson Felt Hat as alternatives to Whitemane’s Chapeau.
The Gossamer shoulders are a suitable alternate for the Silk Mantle of Gamn.
Fancy Buccaneer

Green Silken Shoulders, Buccaneer’s vest pantaloons gloves & boots, Silver-Thread Cuffs & Sash, Cloak of Courage
I will be adding the First Mate Hat and Revilgaz’s Cutlass to this outfit eventually. I got the pirate hat for an absolute steal of only 35 or 50 gold shortly after Cataclysm came out — otherwise, I wouldn’t have one at all!
S.A.F.E. Operative

Swoop-Tail Shoulders, Shimmering set, Jessera’s Fungus-Lined Cuffs, Green Linen Shirt
Some Green-Tinted Goggles would complete the look, but I am too attached to both of Kelilla’s current professions to want exchange one of them for Engineering.
I’m so jealous looking through these posts Kam! You also have Silk Mantle of Gamn! These are really cool and very true to their races, and nice shoulders for the Shimmering set.
Kelilla’s the only character who has the Silk Mantle of Gamn, because she’s the only one who managed to do the appropriate quest before Patch 4.0 changed everything. I’m not shy about using items that I have that are no longer available in my sets, but I will try to come up with suitable alternatives for them.
I was looking for some good shoulders to use with the Shimmering set, and these ones just jumped right out at me.
