So, this free boost to 90 thing.
I’ve decided that I want to level my Warlock and my Rogue to 90 “now” — meaning, before Warlords — so that I can check “get a character of every class to the level cap” off of my list of long-term WoW goals in this expansion and not have to worry about it anymore.
I’d also like to get an Alliance character (or two — Dwarf Shaman, Draenei Mage) up to 90 before Warlords, if I can manage it. I want to do that leveling in the “conventional” way — questing, LFD, professions that give XP, et cetera — because I want to earn the Double Agent achievement properly.
It occurred to me recently that perhaps I should use my free boost to 90 on a different sort of character: a male character.
I’ve rolled a number of male characters, here and there, but they’ve been throwaway alts, created to hold/carry stuff or give guild invites from a secondary account and such. None of them have gotten higher than about level 10. All of my serious characters are female, because I am most comfortable playing female characters.
Sometimes, though, I think it would be cool to have a high-level male Tauren — probably a Warrior, so he could wear/use just about anything. He would be Kamalia’s dad (my secondary Hunter, Kawneiha, is Kamalia’s mom).
Problem is, I don’t really want to add yet another character to the crowd of alts jostling for leveling playtime. The free boost to 90 sounds like a great solution to that problem!
