Cynwise wrote the other day about re-starting his twink Orc Hunter as a Worgen so that he could, in the future, enjoy PvPing as an Orc-inna-tophat. That’s an impulse I completely understand; I have two minor alts who began their existence as Worgen because I ultimately wanted to have a Gnome-inna-tophat and a BloodElf-inna-tophat.
It’s hard to deny that everybody, everybody looks good in a top hat.

(I do admit, though, that the women would look better if the hat allowed long, flowing hairstyles to show underneath.)
I remember reports during the Cataclysm beta of tailoring patterns for a “High Society Top Hat” and a fancy Gilnean-style “Embroidered Shirt”.
To the great lament of Azeroth fashionistas, those patterns did not appear when Cataclysm went live — though they still appear to be in the game code somewhere, because they can be accessed by WoW Model Viewer.
But wait!
The revamped Darkmoon Faire promises “a plethora of profession recipes”. Might this, at last, be the source of top hats and fancy shirts for everyone? I’m sure crossing my fingers that it will!

I love always loved top hats and have read about the importance on getting the size just right for those who prefer custom clothing.
Your characters are awesome and combining them with top hats is interesting, a top hat is one of those accessories that just by itself adds to the personality (as well as height, gravitas, smartness or being a dandy).
I hope so! Along with the rhinestone sunglasses.
