*whew!* Between Alt Appreciation and Batinna’s Dress Up! and then the excitement of BlizzCon, my posting schedule has been pretty busy for the past couple of months. Now that all that is done, I can show off what the rest of my characters have been wearing recently.
Crystal Waters
Gossamer Shoulderpads, Robe of Crystal Waters*, Sutarn’s Ring, Brightcloth Gloves, Cushy Cenarion Walkers, Staff of the Arcane Path
This lovely robe was awarded from an Alliance-only questchain in Stranglethorn Vale that disappeared in the Cataclysm. Kaelinda picked it up while she was briefly a human a few years ago. Similar looks could be made with the Robes of the Exalted or Robes of the Guardian Saint.
Farstrider Sentry
Cutthroat’s Mantle & Boots, Burnt Leather Vest, Sentinel Girdle, Ghostclaw Leggings, Fletcher’s Gloves, Scarlet Filigreed Shirt
It didn’t take long for Keli to tire of being a punk. I didn’t feel like just putting her back into her default Ninja set, and I hadn’t made her a set with these fancy Ghostlands quest reward pants yet.
Starshard
Crown of the Forest Lord, Hide of Chromaggus, Starsight Tunic, Thatch Eave Vines, Glyphed leggings, Stormrider’s Gloves, Moonstrider Boots, Starshard Edge, Shomi’s Fan, August Celestials Tabard
For a character I am logging onto at least semi-regularly, Kerisa has been wearing this outfit for an exceptionally long time. I created it when she was fortunate enough to win the dagger during Cymre’s Val’anyr completion runs — and I didn’t want to let her change her Transmogrification kit until I’d made the fashion post about it.
Leza’s Kindred Spirit
Cowl of Whistling Winds, Journeyman’s Epaulets, Magus Tirth’s Robe, Send-Off Belt, Soulcloth Gloves, Staff of the Earthmother
In the begining, Kaohana and Leza were acquainted simply because the disciples of An’she were such a small group. During the perilous sea journey to Pandaria, they became much closer. As the fever took hold during the trek up the Dojani River, she did what she could to help her friend, but in the end, it was not enough. She misses her friend greatly and was even more heartbroken by the eventual passing of both of Leza and Dezco’s children from the Dawnchaser tribe’s care.
Zandalari Witch Doctor
Crown of Flame, Witch Doctor shoulders chestpiece & gloves, Stormleather Sash, Molten Earth Kilt, Amun-Thoth, Sul’s Spiritrending Talons, Tortos’ Discarded Shell
Wait, what is this thing that dropped for me in T15 LFR? A fist weapon with intellect on it? Nowai!
I pulled out the Stormleather Sash to coordinate with the orange sphere, and I’d been planning to use that belt and that kilt together in a set for ages. Then, I had a long streak of bad luck in Throne of Thunder LFR and didn’t get my T15 shoulders until just barely before the Siege of Orgrimmar began. I’m not really all that keen on this tier set, though, so I don’t think I’ll be keeping it.
Despair
Titan-Forged Plate Helm of Triumph, Palewind Pauldron, Breastplate of Many Graces, Revenant belt gloves & boots, Chromite Legplates, Shadow-Cloak of Dalaran, Despair
Although I in general agree with Fabulor that full Judgement sets are overused — the purple version even more so than the red & gold version — I am not opposed to using one or two Judgement pieces in combination with items from other sources. In the case of this outfit, using the Chromite chestpiece was adequate but rather boring. The brighter purple details of the purple Judgement chestpiece complement the brighter purple details of the sword very nicely.
I did the Karazhan Opera so many times before this sword finally dropped that I was starting to feel quite despairing of it truly existing!
Frost Runes
Symbolic set with Circle’s Stalwart Helmet, Talonguard Epaulets, The Oathkeeper, Dark Phantom Cape, and Cerulean Filigreed Doublet
The runic patterns on this style of armor are just perfect for a Death Knight, and the Talonguard Epaulets match the colors of the set better than the Symbolic shoulders do! This is the outfit that really made me itch to Transmogrify Kaumalea’s gear. She’s been wearing it ever since Death Knight Appreciation Week, though it took me awhile to get some proper screenshots. It will probably be her default outfit, the one she continually returns to after I’ve put her in something different for awhile.
Your mogs never fail to just blow my mind! All of these are gorgeous. I think Crystal Waters and Starshard are my favorite, but every one of them makes me go wow! Thanks for sharing them. 🙂
Thanks! XD Those two are my favorites, too!
