Well, not everybody-everybody, but all my level 90+ characters who are currently on Draenor, at any rate. As I was going through my wardrobe pages the other day, it was clear that it had been far too long since I’d updated — several of the pages were still showing my end-of-Mists outfits, while the characters themselves were loafing around their Garrisons in sloppy, mismatched combinations of Frostfire Ridge quest reward gear and Tormented token gear that their followers had brought them. Even if nobody will see them in-game but me, it was high time for some new Transmogrification kits.
Pauldrons of the Deafening Gale, Warsong Wraps, Netherstrike Belt, Valorous Earthshatter Legguards (T7), Grips of Nature’s Wrath, Thunder Bluff Doublet, Gutgore Ripper, Viryx’s Indomitable Bulwark (H)
This High Arakkoa shield design is pretty cool, but I don’t know if I’ll keep it beyond the end of this expansion. So I figured I’d better make a kit with it for running around in Tanaan. The dagger was an obvious match, but Kamalia didn’t really have much else that was orange in her wardrobe. Poking around in MogIt, I found this combination of chestpiece and kilt, which is so nice that I feel like I’ve seen it somewhere else before… but where or when, I can’t recall. I had this kilt during Wrath, but I sold it at the end of the expansion to free up some bag space, so I had to re-collect it.
In order of seniority…
Contender’s Wyrmhide Shoulders, Pozzik’s Vest, Serene Yellow Belt, Nature-Stitched Kilt, Frostwolf Scout’s Gloves, Gouging Staff
I borrowed the core concept of this kit — the shoulders + tunic + kilt combination — from an outfit originally posted by Samaramon on her now-defunct blog.
Frostwolf Ringmail set with Cloak of Beasts, Master Builder’s Shirt, and Wolfslayer Sniper Rifle
It feels somehow ironic to pair the armor of the wolf-BFFs with a wolf-hunting gun, but that was the weapon already in Ketura’s inventory that looked best with this armor.
Crown of the Forest Lord, Supple shoulders belt & gloves (1-640), Jinxed Hoodoo Skin & Kilt, Miniature Winter Veil Tree, Growthshaper Branch
The combination of the recolored Druid T1 antlers with the Jinxed Hoodoo items has always been popular, for obvious reasons. I feel like I’ve seen the combination of the stage 1 Warlords crafted leather items with the Jinxed Hoodoo items somewhere before, but I can’t remember where or when.

Aldor at Karabor
Pauldrons & Vestments of the Aldor (T4), Bridenbrad’s Sash, Zodiac Gloves* + Dryad’s Wrist Bindings, Soul-Strider Boots, Crazy Cenarion Cloak, Blue Linen Shirt, Staff of the Faithful*
Kaylynda feels a bit awkward about calling herself “of the Aldor” because she is a Scryer… And, for that matter, the Aldor are an order of priests whereas the Scryers are an order of mages, so shouldn’t the Aldor Regalia have been a Priest set, with Scryer Regalia as the Mage set?
Symbolic set with Pauldrons of the High Requiem and Sword of Justice
This tuning fork sword is just so hilarious. I love the detailing in the hilt.
These shoulders, which have long been a favorite of mine for DK kits, go with this set so much better than the shoulders that nominally belong to it!
Pauldrons of the Wardancer, Savior’s Grasp, Emerald belt gauntlets & boots, Sunscale Legplates, Talon of Azshara, Crystal Pulse Shield
It always surprises me that this sword is a one-handed weapon instead of a two-handed weapon.
I think the demon face on this chestplate style is a little freaky, but if I don’t look too closely, the colors sure are pretty.
Stonecloth Epaulets, Frostwolf Wind-talker robe & belt, Gloves of the Infernal Nocturnal, Wound Dressing, Umbranse’s Staff
This kit is sort of like an updated version of one of Kaohana’s earliest outfits, which used the similarly skimpy Mystic’s Robe.
This Warlords robe style puts cool little tattoos on the shoulders that are plain to see when the towel-roll shoulderpiece that goes with the set is worn.
Unfortunately, that shoulder armor also clips quite severely with the bust of any of the female models, making other shoulder models much more attractive.
Mantle of the Golden Sun, Hexweave Robe (1-640), Klaxxi Lash of the Orator, Cloudscorcher Handwraps, Unassuming Slippers, Brilliant Hexweave Cloak (1-640), Cindermaw’s Blazing Talon, Shadowtome (1-630)
First of a series of kits going through the upgrade stages of the Warlords crafted cloth items.
Mists and Warlords items coordinate so well so frequently that I wonder if the use of common color palettes was deliberate.

Horns of the Left Hand Path, Slavehandler Amice, Andorhal Tunic, Ivycloth Sash, Darkweave Breeches, Cloudscorcher Handwraps, Boots of Duress, Cloak of Concentrated Hatred, Staff of Beasts
I first imagined the basic idea of this kit about three years ago, while I was developing ideas for a Transmogrification contest. Shortly thereafter, I refined it when I made my “very model of a Warlock, dark and terrible” post. This kit is somewhat simpler than any of those outfits, however, because the shoulders are an ordinary green-quality drop rather than any of the raid drop shoulders I originally suggested. One of these days, perhaps I’ll get around to farming up those raid drop shoulders and update this kit accordingly…
Dreghood Cowl, Frostwolf Scout’s Spaulders, Ghost Fox chest gloves & boots, Pyramid Embossed Belt, Shadow-Gorged Legguards, Scavenged Rotor Blade, Rune Sword
This kit was so dark and sneaky-looking that it just didn’t feel complete without the hooded mask.
