One of the neatest things about the Wandering Isle was following an NPC’s suggestion to go down a set of stairs to see a pair of historians teaching a group of children about the history of the Wandering Isle.
This morning, I was flying across Shadowmoon Valley with Kaylynda and decided to take a detour to Teluuna Observatory. I was curious to see what was on the top floor — if it was perhaps unoccupied enough to take mog screenshots there with Horde characters. It wasn’t.
Looking around, I soon discovered that if I clicked on the hologram pads, the named Draenei standing next to them would tell me a little bit about the history of the Draenei…
The arrangement of the holopads suggests that one should start at the glowing globe and go around the room clockwise, but the story makes more sense to me (and I have arranged my screenshots thusly) if I go counterclockwise from the glowing globe to the guy in the blue robe and end up at the one directly clockwise of the glowing globe.
If the Draenei thought Draenor was a “tranquil” and merely “untamed” land, how much more savage and inhospitable than Draenor were some of the other planets they stopped on?
