Last summer, I challenged myself to make a set of Transmogrification kits using each of the Warlords crafted weapons, and I put out a request for other Transmogrification ideas using Warlords crafted items. I got some great ideas! Since then, I’ve been slowly working on actually making those kits (or iterations of them, at any rate) in-game. I’ve also come up with several other ideas along the way. As I was trying not to make these posts too incredibly huge, I decided not to include kits that use only one relatively minor piece of Warlords crafted gear (usually a belt) — though I did include kits that use only one piece of Warlords crafted gear if it is a major piece such as shoulders, a chestpiece, or a weapon.
Sumptuous Robes (“stage 0”), Hexweave Regalia stage 1, Hexweave Regalia stage 2, Hexweave Regalia stage 3, Fel-Infused Armor

Stage Zero Armor
Only chestpiece, leggings, and helm pieces exist for this coloration of the Warlords crafted armor. The primary use of the patterns for these items, which are not upgradable, is leveling the crafting skill itself.
Sumptuous Ceremony
Elementalist Skullcap, Duskhallow Mantle, Sumptuous Robes, Contender’s Satin Belt, Exiled Dabbler’s Gloves, Arakkoa Divining Rod, Shadowtome (1-630)
That the Duskhallow Mantle was the perfect set of shoulders to wear with this robe was immediately obvious. The rest of the kit took a bit of trial and error. It does look fantastic with the Shado-Pan hat, but pairing anything red and black with that particular hat is finally starting to feel cliche to me.
I like this dark coloration of this robe style better than the dark coloration of the stage 3 Hexweave robe, though.

Stage One Armor
Dynastic Hexweave
Mantle of the Golden Sun, Hexweave Robe (1-640), Klaxxi Lash of the Orator, Cloudscorcher Handwraps, Unassuming Slippers, Brilliant Hexweave Cloak (1-640), Cindermaw’s Blazing Talon, Shadowtome (1-630)
First of a series of kits going through the upgrade stages of the Warlords crafted cloth items.
Mists and Warlords items coordinate so well so frequently that I wonder if the use of common color palettes was deliberate.

Hex’d Solace
Pauldrons of the Solace-Giver, Hexweave Robe Belt & Cloak (1-640), Black Mageweave Gloves, Staff of Athen’a
I picked up these shoulders while farming Karazhan for something else. I almost just vendored them, as I’m not all that fond of the set they actually belong to. The colors reminded me of the stage 1 Hexweave items, though, and when I tried the combination, I liked it.

Stage Two Armor
Mystical Dragons
Crafted Dreadful Gladiator’s Mooncloth Mantle (Priest only), Hexweave Robe (2-655), Abandoned Zandalari Firecord (LFR), Replica Virtuous Gloves, Ice Cream Churner
I love the soft colors of this version of the robe — it’s definitely my favorite of the three. It also makes a great combination with these fun crafted shoulders from Mists.

Mystical Dragoness
Crafted Dreadful Gladiator’s Mooncloth Helm, Crafted Dreadful Gladiator’s Mooncloth Mantle, Hexweave Robe (stage 2), Nethershard Girdle, Volatile Walkers, Purifier’s Silken Cape, Staff of Trembling Will
Morning Sky
Shawl of Wonderment, Hexweave Robe (2-655), Hexweave Belt (1-640), Breezebinder Handwraps, Cushy Cenarion Walkers, Wand of Cleansing Light, Frostwolf Wind-Talker Rod
The colors of this kit remind me of the quality of light in the very early morning, when it is light enough to see clearly, but before the sun has fully come over the horizon.

Stage Three Armor
Crackling Hexes
Thaumaturge’s Crackling Cowl, Amice of the Convoker, Hexweave Robe (3-670), Astralite’s Cord, Blauvelt’s Special Occasion Gloves, Saltarello Shoes, Spire of Scarlet Pain (N)
I made this kit and added it to this post in early Battle for Azeroth when it occurred to me that I’d never actually gotten around to making a kit with the stage 3 Hexweave Robe.
I liked how the little diamond-shaped orange gems in these Sunwell shoulders matched the diamond-shaped dull orange gem in the robe. The dull-orange gem in this Broken Isles belt was a good match, too.

Rain of Fire
Circle of Flame, Hexweave Mantle & Belt (3-670), Black Velvet Robes, Diamond Clutching Gloves, Blood-Bind Sandals, Warmaster’s Firestick (3-660), Goblet of Anger
Silverblade contributed a simply magnificent cloth kit using level 3 Hexweave items and the sleeveless version of this robe to the original Savage Blood Fashion Parade. I also made a kit using level 3 Hexweave items for that event, though mine was not nearly as good. This kit combines my favorite ideas from both of those earlier concepts.

Scion of Slytherin
Hexweave Mantle (3-670), Beastwalker Robe, Ivycloth Sash, Exiled Dabbler’s Gloves, Blood-Bind Sandals, Legacy of Arlokk
My Hunter had been farming Zul’Gurub for the music roll. After seeing this staff drop a few times, I decided that my Warlock really ought to have it. This was the most properly Slytherin-coloured robe to go with it.

Fel-Infused Armor
This coloration of the Warlords crafted armor was obtained from the Legion pre-launch event Demon Invasions.
Forbidden Knowledge
Shoulderpads of Twisted Fate (LFR), Fel-Infused Hauberk & Cinch, Wandering Healer’s Kilt, Exiled Dabbler’s Gloves, Terokk’s Shadowstaff
I like the cloth Demon Invasions tunic and belt, but I needed some different shoulders — to my eye, the set shoulder model just doesn’t look good on Tauren. I’d been wanting to use these T14 Mage-lookalike shoulders in a kit for my Priest, and the colors are perfect! I also wanted a skirt instead of trousers, and of the options I had avaliable, this was what I liked best.
I really enjoy when players make sets from various different sources in the game; this a wonderful posting. I want to go find a Scion of Slytherin set for myself now.
Thank you. I’m rather fond of the Scion of Slytherin set, myself 🙂 I enjoy coming up with new kits too much to really have a “default” appearance for any of my characters, but if I did, I think that set would be one of my Warlock’s default appearances.
