A collection of Transmogrification Kits actually worn in-game by my Tauren Hunters. Outfits are listed from most recent to least recent. Items that are no longer obtainable are marked with an asterisk (*).
50) Grayfeather
Thick Scale Shoulder Pads, Wildthorn Mail, Lifecycle Waistguard, Infernal Trickster Leggings, Grips of the Fel Destroyer, Treads of the Dreamwolf
This partial recolor of the Gryphon Mail set is also quite handsome. The crafted Icy Scale Boots almost go with it; the part that covers the legs is a match for the chestpiece and leggings, but the part that covers the feet is bright blue! So I have chosen to use a different pair of boots that might work for everyone — not just the races who go shoe-less.
49) Gryphon Mail
This classic set is the style, albeit not the color, of the garb of Night Elf flight masters throughout Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms.
48) Lovable Hotshot Scoundrel
Mail of Crimson Coins (H), Industrial Lifting Belt, Nexus-Strider Legwraps, Trailseeker Gauntlets, Railwalker’s Ratcheted Boots, Formal White Shirt, Kickback 5000
The mail-wearing classes don’t quite fit into a “Jedi” theme because none of them use swords (well, technically Hunters can, but none of the Hunter Artifacts is a sword). “Smuggler” is a Republic-side class in SWTOR, however, so I decided to attempt to create a blaster-slinging Han Solo/Lando Calrissian type of look. That was tricksy, in mail, though, and I wasn’t quite sure how well I’d succeeded until I took her into the Caverns of Time and saw her wearing it as a human.
Yeah, yeah, that works just fine.
47) Draenor Beast Master
Blast-Proof Cowl, Wayfaring Shoulderguards (2-655), Netherstrike Breastplate, Dreadhawk’s Girdle, Leggings of Beast Mastery, Triumphant Gauntlets, Radiant Boots, Permafrost Cape, Glaive of the Pit
I love the combination of blue, green, and gold in this Outland chestpiece and leggings.
This is an outfit I have wanted to make for my Hunter for, like, ever. Unfortunately, I couldn’t at the time I first deisgned this kit because the chestpiece is a BoP-to-the-crafter leatherworking item. I did make a very similar outfit for my Shaman instead. But now, with the account-wide Appearances collection, I can! I did spruce it up a little from the initial design with the Warlords helm and shoulders, though.
46) Iridescent Scales
Bog Epaulets, Skettis Chestpiece & Footwraps, Sundered Waistband & Gauntlets, Green Dragonscale Leggings, Giorgio’s Caduceus of Pure Moods (LFR)
This style of mail armor also comes in gold (the Burnished set). It would be perfectly lovely for Noblegarden (and Love is in the Air) if it came in pale pink, too!
45) Wyrmhunter
Wyrmfury Pauldrons, Fel Iron Chain Tunic, Belt of the Gladiator, Turtle Scale Leggings, Green Dragonscale Gauntlets, Boots of the Pathfinder
It seemed natural to progress from a kit using the Dragonstalker pauldrons to this BC dungeons recolor. After playing around with various combinations of green and red, I decided that I liked the outfit best with the maroon color just popping from the pauldrons and the feathers on this tint of Talonclaw.
44) Carnival
Dragonstalker’s Spaulders, Champion’s Deathdealer Breastplate, Blood Knight Girdle, Scourge Lieutenant Breeches, Magnificent Gauntlets, Netherstorm Greaves, Scarlet Filigreed Shirt, Terokk’s Quill
This brilliantly colored kit takes cues from the outfits submitted by Luxypie and Zhau@Hellfire-EU for “These Boots Were Made For Mogging”.
43) I Will Survive
Wayfaring Shoulderguards & Leggings (3-670), Champion’s Deathdealer Breastplate, Merciless Belt, Magnificent Gauntlets, Netherstorm Greaves, Terokk’s Quill
Beastmastery is fun, especially now that I’ve finally gotten around to having my Scribe make the Dire Stable glyph for my Hunter — but I wanted to go back to being Survival for awhile. Because it was still Pink Season at the time, it seemed like an opportune time to make a bright pink kit with Terokk’s Quill.
42) Wild Heart Wrangler
Architect’s Spaulders, Brigade Breastplate & Girdle, Wayfaring Leggings (3-670), Wildwood Wrangler Gloves, Sha’tari Deadeye Sabatons, PC-54 Shotgun
The pinkish-copper trim on this gun suggested that it be used in a Love is in the Air outfit. This kit turned out darker than I originally anticipated, however, mostly because I resisted the temptation to just use the whole Brigade set —
— a duskier-toned mail analogue of the plate Bloodscale set.
41) Great Jungle Hunter
Safari Hat, Savage Gladiator’s Chain Spaulders, Chestguard of Elemental Torment, Belt of the Gladiator, Axeclaw Legguards, Stormscale Gloves, Treads of the Dreamwolf, Ranseur of Hatred
An idea I began to develop while working on Ketura’s previous outfit. Sometimes it’s best not to let such ideas rest for too long before I make them… or I might forget them.
