A collection of Transmogrification Kits actually worn in-game by my Tauren Paladin. Outfits are listed from most recent to least recent. Items that are no longer obtainable are marked with an asterisk (*).
70) Sunwalker’s Warplate
Drake Talon Pauldrons, Plate of the Shaman King, Ogre Beater’s Belt, Legguards of the Fallen Crusader, Nazmani Warplate Gauntlets, Nazmani Warplate Treads, Warsword of the Ebon Blade, Skyhold Bulwark
Alas, the Grunt’s Plate items that match the chestpiece — and make up the outfit worn by Aponi Brightmane and Sunwalker Saern — are common quality (non-Moggable).
Because the shield comes from the Warrior Class Hall and the sword comes from the Death Knight Class Hall, this is an outfit I couldn’t have made if I hadn’t had a character of every Class at level 110 during Legion.
69) Sun Rock Sunset
Ferocious Gladiator’s Scaled Helm, Ancestral Chieftain’s Mantle Grasps & Totem, Plate of the Shaman King, Belt of the Sand Reaver, Legguards of the Fallen Crusader, Salt-Scorched Greaves, Swiftsteel Bludgeon, Fel-Iron Shield
“It is said that long ago, An’she himself kissed the mountain where [Sun Rock Retreat] now stands” — Spiritwalker Ussoh
The combination of the hat and the mace made me think of the red sun just before it goes down.
68) Ancestral Protector
Ancestral Chieftain’s Armor with Plate of the Shaman King, Runic Plate Leggings, and The Hand of Antu’sul + Sternhorn’s Shield
This chestpiece was a natural choice for this kit, as it is worn by Baine’s Honor Guards and by various Sunwalker NPCs. I liked how the blue knees on these pants picked up on the blue accents on the headdress and gloves.
67) Dawnchaser Gladiator
Cataclysmic Gladiator’s Scaled Armor with Relentless Gladiator’s Ornamented Spaulders, Wild Gladiator’s Gavel, Masterwork Spiritguard Shield, and Thunder Bluff Tabard
Once, I thought Karaelia would never be able to wear the PvP Paladin set worn by Teya Dawnchaser. Fortunately, Legion‘s BOA Marks of Honor from the insta-WQ items available as a perk from certain Order Halls changed that for me. This outfit doesn’t perfectly mimic Teya’s gear, as she is wearing the Elite version of the Cataclysmic Gladiator set, but it’s close enough.
66) Night Knight
Booty Bay Helm, Replica Soulforge Pauldrons & Legplates, Breastplate of Many Graces, Uktar’s Belt of Chiming Rings (N), Sunstrider’s Gauntlets, Fen Strider’s Footguards, Pilfered Ethereal Blade, Revenant Deflector, Nightfallen Tabard
Karaelia quickly began to feel silly in the Zandalari plate armor. Having returned to the Broken Isles, she chose a Suramar outfit next. I kind of wanted to use the Hammer of Atonement for this kit, but it just didn’t feel Shaldorei enough.
65) Zandalari Monel-Hardened Armor
Monel-Hardened Armor with Thunder Caressed Waistguard, Monel-Hardened Cutlass and Monel-Hardened Shield
The Horde version of the Battle for Azeroth crafted plate armor matches the Zuldazar quest set.
I’ve swapped out the enormous set belt for something more trim.
Alliance characters wanting the Horde appearance should look for the Direbone Frill BOEs.
64) Highlord of the Silver Hand
Battleplate of the Silver Hand with Lightbringer Greathelm, Fearless Gladiator’s Greatcloak of Faith, Tabard of the Lightbringer, and Truthguard (upgraded, first tint)
Karaelia reached Exalted with Suramar at last, and now she can wear the Paladin Order Hall set.
63) Silver Hand Knight
Dojani Armor with Lighthammer Pauldrons, Crazy Cenarion Cloak, Tabard of the Lightbringer, and Ardent Warhammer
The Silver Hand Knights are the default 3-vitality troops of the Paladin Order Hall. I’d upgraded them to Templars… so then I had to switch to the upgrade for the 2-vitality troops to get them back to take pictures with this kit.
62) Silver Hand Templar
Truesteel Battleplate (stage 3) with Windfire Legplates (LFR), Vicious Fur Cloak, Tabard of the Lightbringer, and Gilded Warhammer
The pants the NPCs are wearing are more like a pants version of the robe skirt from the Siege of Orgrimmar set than the actual pants of that set.
61) Silver Hand Sunwalker Keeper
Rusted Bonespike Pauldrons (25H), Ornate Battleplate of the Master, Guardian’s Scaled Belt, Jade Tiger Legguards, Fallen Lord’s Handguards (25H), Vindicator’s Scaled Greaves, Tabard of the Lightbringer, Mace of Acrid Death, Sternhorn’s Shield
These Sanctum of Light NPCs are wearing the same NPC-only coloration of the ICC Paladin tier set that is worn by Highlord Fordring himself at Icecrown Citadel. I’m not sure what the NPC pants are, though — I couldn’t find them in my Paladin’s collection, either in her already-acquired items or in her not-yet-collected items. Maybe they’re a recolor of a Warrior or Death Knight item?
