Another Lunar Festival brings with it another opportunity to make outfits using those lovely flower circlets.
Festival Magister
Crown of Courage, Replica Magister’s Mantle & Belt, Festive Purple Dress, Gossamer Gloves, Kurkenstoks, Solstice Staff
The purple with gold trim of the Magister’s items coordinates perfectly with the purple Lunar Festival dress.
Although I initially intended to use the blue flower crown, thinking that it would look fabulous with Kaelyla’s complexion —
— I also particularly wanted to use the purple dress, and I liked the pink flower crown better with the rest of the outfit as it all came together.
Kaelyla wanted a more relaxed style than her usual ponytail for this outfit, but it took a bit of trial and error to find one that I liked that didn’t have so much volume that it covered up the flower crown in the back.
Forgotten Potpourri
Crown of Dark Blossoms, Royal Amice, Robes of the Honorable, Master’s Belt, Black Mageweave Gloves, Apprentice Boots, Spellcrafter Wand*, Penelope’s Rose*
When the Lunar Festival flower crowns debuted, I commented that this coloration of the flower crown was just right for gloomy folks like Death Knights and Forsaken. After stumbling across this combo of flower crown and robe while exploring ideas for another character, I decided I ought to use it for my Forsaken, instead.
Sunforged
Crown of Empowered Fate, Demonic Combatant’s Scaled Shoulders, Felforged Chestplate, Lawbringer Belt, Flintlocke’s Piloting Pants, Gauntlets of the Shining Light, Grim Sabatons, Twisted-Ritualist’s Shawl, Archon’s Gavel, Sunward Crest, Tabard of the Shattered Sun/Army of the Light Tabard
Although I will probably never play through those questlines with Kelynaera in-game, in RP-space, she was a stalwart member of the Army of the Shattered Sun during the effort to reclaim the Isle of Quel’danas, she was at the Sunwell when the Sunwalker brought the miraculously recovered Quel’delar and presented it to Lady Liadrin, she was among Lady Liadrin’s company assisting at Auchindoun on Draenor-of-the-alternate-timeway, and she travelled with the Vindicaar to Argus and worked with the Army of the Light to clear the way to the Burning Throne. All these experiences slowly infused her with Light until her eyes had changed hue once more — from quel’dorei blue to sin’dorei green to belore’dorei golden.
Dreamscale Inlay
Demonic Gladiator’s Satin Hood, Primal Combatant’s Amice of Prowess, Dreamscale Inlaid Vestments (LFR), Girdle of Prophecy, Warmongering Gladiator’s Satin Gloves, Warm Red Woolen Socks, Rubellite Staff of Intuition
After Kaelinda finished collecting the Mage-lookalike set from Emerald Nighthold LFR, I kept going a little longer to pick up this lookalike of the Priest robe. I’m not a fan of the spikes on the elbows and hips, but otherwise I quite like this design.
Jungle Jane
Safari Hat, Talador Sentinel Spaulders, Vest of the Shattered Abyss, Binding of the Tranquil Glade, Tranquillien Breeches, Haal’eshi Gloves & Boots, Neophyte’s Shirt, Illidari Warglaive
I wanted to do something with the chestpiece of the Demon Hunter Order Hall set, and this is what came of it.
Archdruid of the Dreamgrove II
Dreamgrove Raiment with Pit Lord’s Destroyer
Kerisa didn’t want to wear this set with its hood, but Kerithian did.
The dangly bead on the belt of this set always puts me in mind of the Furbolgs and their glowing beehive lanterns. The crescent-shaped ornaments elsewhere in the design look like they are made of amber, but for some reason that doesn’t make me want to go out and take pictures in Mantid places.
Bronzebeard Firebrand
Kodo-Repellant Shoulders, Silksand Wraps, Belt of Unsolvable Problems, Gaze Dreamer Pants, Gloves of Rapid Evolution, Ritual Sandals, Bloodpetal Cloak, Orange Mageweave Shirt, Excavation Rod*, Everglow Lantern*
I’m slowly, sporadically working on a collection of Home City Tabard outfits for the Minor Mages.
I couldn’t find a lot in orange for a low-level character. This combination of oranges, browns, and golds works quite nicely, though.

This series of posts began because I set myself a goal to document new Transmogrification outfits in a more timely fashion. As soon as I create a new outfit, I write it up in a draft post. As the weekend approaches, I start working on taking fashion screenshots, processing them, and updating “Things my [Class] Wears” posts. On Sunday — though not every Sunday — I publish the collection of my recent efforts. Then I begin the next “Sunday on the Promenade” draft post.
Occasionally, I have ideas for themed Transmogrification collections that take several months to completely assemble. Thus, some of these outfits might get re-posted at a later date as part of such a themed Transmogrification collection.
If any of you, my dear readers, have kits that you’d like to share, I’d be happy to add you to the show! Just email me your picture(s), along with a list of the items in the outfit. I don’t regularly check my blog email, though, so if you’ve sent me an outfit, please make a comment on the most recent Sunday Mog Show post so that I know to check my blog email for your contribution.
Very lovely put together as always 🙂 I struggle trying to find a leather outfit that fits the blue version!
Thank you 🙂
By that, do you mean leather accessories to go with the blue Lunar Festival Suit?
Oh, sorry, I just meant leather overall. I can´t quite seem to find something “delicate” and light blue enough (+robe/kilt) to fit that flowery headpiece! Enter Kam?! 🙂
Silly me! I should have realized that you meant the blue flower crown, not the blue festival suit! >.<
The Outland blue & grey recolor of Feralheart and the blue version of the Deep Earth set are good ideas — and if you gathered Marks of Honor during Legion, you could get the white PvP recolor of the Monk Hellfire Citadel set from Warlords of Draenor. And maybe the light blue version of the Helya raid set has some pieces that might work, too?
Oh thank you so much, I will look into those 🙂
Doh! Feralheart, of course. Or that Deep Earth Vestment set. Hmm..
