I can’t help but think of the brown version of this robe as “the Jedi robe”. Certain Highborne Night Elf NPCs wear a pink version of this robe that I’d dearly love to have available to players.

When I read your title “Archmage Robe” I thought you meant “Robe of the Archmage”, which is a Mage-only craftable Epic robe. Which was Cardwyn’s first piece of purple gear, that I finished within 20 minutes before Card’s first run through UBRS. (I wanted to actually have it finished before going in so at least I had something decent on her when I ventured inside.)
I still have that robe in Card’s bank, next to her (almost complete) T1 set.
That being said, I don’t think I’ve seen this robe before. It’s one of those rare pieces where I could see both Card and Neve wearing that robe. For Cardwyn it’d be slightly fancy and a bit revealing, whereas Neve would consider it more everyday wear and slightly conservative. To each their own, I suppose.
It’s surprising sometimes how different characters can have such different tastes!
I think the blue version is “fancier” than the brown version, and the pink version, if players could get it, would be fancier still.
