Or at least that’s what I’ve been trying to tell myself.
If I can just get through that last 9.0 Covenant Campaign (Kyrian), I can move on to the 9.1 and 9.2 story content.
Maybe I’ll even grind out my Progenitor Mage Tier set from Sandworn Relics and Cosmic Flux on Zereth Mortis first and then go back for the stuff I want from Korthia. And then, with Anima much more abundantly available from Korthia and Zereth Mortis than from the launch zones (or so I’ve been told), return to my 9.0 Renown Vendors shopping list, the Ember Court, and the Queen’s Conservatory as things to do during the wait for Dragonflight.
But when I feel like I’ve only got a little bit of time to play, it’s so easy to get distracted by just doing my favorite World Quests for Anima.

I feel you there, Kamalia.
On the bright side, I’m starting to think about what to do if I wanted to roll into Dragonflight. Obviously I’ve got plenty of time, but given that I’m interested enough to actually start thinking about pulling Neve out of the garage and/or creating a somewhat older Cardwyn, there’s…. possibilities.
If you’re genuinely uninterested in playing through any of the content that you’ve missed, I’d recommend that you wait until pre-orders for Dragonflight are available. If the pattern from the past few expansions holds, pre-ordering the upcoming expansion will give you the ability to Boost one character to the current level cap immediately.
I wonder if I can get up to the level cap via areas that Neve never hit, like Panda land. It’s a thought, anyway.
Yes — Chromie Time lets you level 10-50 in any expansion you want — or you can hop between them
And there’s enough content you haven’t done yet that you might be able to get to level 60 without having to go to Shadowlands.
After killing the world boss in ZM then doing 2 or 3 chests and 2 or 3 rares … it seems like you’re sitting with between 1K and 2K anima. It rains anima in ZM. I highly recommend you start your weeks there on your main(s) and work your way backwards through the patches. This gives you the bonus of more people being around to help with rares in ZM
Thanks for the advice! That sounds like a good plan. 😀
