This series of posts began because I set myself a goal to document new Transmogrification outfits in a more timely fashion. As soon as I create a new outfit, I write it up in a draft post. As the weekend approaches, I start working on taking fashion screenshots, processing them, and updating “Things my [Class] Wears” posts. On Sunday — though not every Sunday — I publish the collection of my recent efforts. Then I begin the next “Sunday on the Promenade” draft post.
Occasionally, I have ideas for themed Transmogrification collections that take several months to completely assemble. Thus, some of these outfits might get re-posted at a later date as part of such a themed Transmogrification collection.
Eye-Catching Gilded Garb
Flare-Eyed Hood, Slaughterhouse Spaulders, Eye-Catching Gilded Robe, Deckhand’s Rope Belt, Stonewarper Wraps, Inferno Breath Sandals, Cerulean Filigreed Doublet, Rod of the Broken Temple
Having managed to collect the entire Highmaul/Blackrock Foundry Mage Tier-lookalike set through Garrison follower missions, Kaylynda wanted to wear it.
Dragonstalker’s Spaulders, Champion’s Deathdealer Breastplate, Blood Knight Girdle, Scourge Lieutenant Breeches, Magnificent Gauntlets, Netherstorm Greaves, Scarlet Filigreed Shirt, Terokk’s Quill
This brilliantly colored kit takes cues from the outfits submitted by Luxypie and Zhau@Hellfire-EU for “These Boots Were Made For Mogging”.
Crown of the Fire Festival, Pauldrons of Sufferance, Mooncloth Robe, Replica Virtuous Gloves + Wristguards of Subterranean Moss, White Swashbuckler’s Shirt, Communal Staff
I finally got around to acquiring these beautiful bracers! They’re a lookalike of the original T3 Priest bracers — and probably the only item out of that set that I will ever acquire, because I don’t have the gold-making chops to compete for the Priest T3 items when they show up on the Black Market Auction House.
The other inspiration point for this kit was that after having used the more Shadowy-toned version of the Communal staff, I wanted to use the more Holy-toned version for awhile.
As a whole, this outfit is a very classical Priest look; races that wear shoes will probably want the Sage’s boots.
Shadow Heart Spaulders, Tunic of the Nightwatcher, Brown Belt of Humbling Gravity, Kilt of the Night Strider, Heth’Jatari Battlegloves, Wu-Lai, Bladed Fan of the Consorts
During Mists, I made the effort to obtain this fabulous fist weapon with both mini-Kam and the Pet Battling Monk. I made a Shaman kit with it almost immediately, but I never got around to making a Monk kit with it. So Kate is going to be a Windwalker for awhile so that she can use her fist weapons.
I loved the idea of pairing these dagger-stuffed shoulders with the Bladed Fan — this woman is armed to the teeth!
Pauldrons of Conviction, Everbright Breastplate, Truesteel Waistguard (3-670), Greaves of the Outcast Knight, Gloves of the Stela, Boots of Valiance, Runescribed Blade, Bastion of Light
I thought this chestpiece went really well with the shoulders. Finding other pieces that then coordinated well with both items made this outfit very light and bright and suitably Paladin-y — a nice contrast to the outfit I made with these shoulders for the Underpowered Death Night.
The lower resolution model of these Outland boots doesn’t hold up well in a close-up view, but from a distance, they are perfect.
North Wind’s Howl
Shoulderguard of Vaulted Skies, Crafted Malevolent Gladiator’s Dreadplate chest pants & gloves, Replica Soulforge Belt, Crustacean Stompers, Shroud of the North Wind
I got Hailstorm because I didn’t like the appearance of the Frost DK Artifact very much on first glance at the datamined models from the Legion PTR. After I got the Frost DK Artifact, though, I decided that, actually, it looks pretty cool. This combination of armor complements the Blades of the Fallen Prince quite nicely.
If any of you, my dear readers, have kits that you’d like to share, I’d be happy to add you to the show! Just email me your picture(s), along with a list of the items in the outfit. I don’t regularly check my blog email, though, so if you’ve sent me an outfit, please make a comment on the most recent Sunday Mog Show post so that I know to check my blog email for your contribution.
