After it took so long to get the last installment of the Sunday Mog Show out, I wanted a quick turnover for the next one!

Pinkish-Purplish Party Primate

Pink Party Hat, Replica Sorcerer’s Mantle, Cloak of Seething Hatred, Silkweave Robe Cinch & Pantaloons, Snowblind Footwraps, Wand of Happiness, Inscribed Fan
I’d been thinking about waiting to make a Pink Party Hat outfit until I started doing the Ember Court… but I didn’t want to wait anymore.
I wasn’t particularly excited about Legion‘s Silkweave ensemble when I crafted it, though I did so to level my Tailoring skill, of course. Now I’m glad to have it, as it turns out to be just the right color to coordinate quite nicely with the Pink Party Hat — which is more mauve and less rose than I would have naively guessed it might be. And Void Elves have a hair color that matches it so beautifully!
This ensemble looks pretty rad with the Sprite Darter’s Flutterers, too…

Silver Sky

Thermore Arcanist’s Hat*, Celestial Observer’s Constellations Buckle & Gloves, Fallen Disciple’s Cloak, Astral Knot Robe*, Cushy Cenarion Walkers, Argent Crusader’s Tabard, Mardenholde Staff
I don’t browse Mogs at Wowhead very often, but I happened to look at some outfits that had been submitted using items in the Celestial Observer’s Ensemble, and among them were a few sets that used the shoulders and belt of the ensemble with the Argent Crusader’s Tabard. I thought that combo was pretty neat, so I borrowed it.
If you haven’t got this hat, which was a limited-time reward from the pre-launch event for Mists of Pandaria, the Celestial Observer’s Skygazer or Cowl of Benevolence also work very well with this ensemble.

Aspiring Aspirant

Aspiring Aspirant’s Regalia with Aurora Pants and Dreamgrove Spire
The name of this set seems a little redundantly silly, but I guess those Maw Walker mortals who have sworn themselves to the Kyrian could be said to be Aspiring to become Kyrian Aspirants after their final passage through the veil?
As you can see, I’m not a fan of the Aspiring Aspirant’s Leggings. Fortunately, these pants make a very nice substitution piece.

This series of posts began because I set myself a goal to document new Transmogrification outfits in a more timely fashion. As soon as I create a new outfit, I write it up in a draft post. As the weekend approaches, I start working on taking fashion screenshots, processing them, and updating “Things my [Class] Wears” posts. On Sunday — though not every Sunday — I publish the collection of my recent efforts. Then I begin the next “Sunday on the Promenade” draft post.

Occasionally, I have ideas for themed Transmogrification collections that take several months to completely assemble. Thus, some of these outfits might get re-posted at a later date as part of such a themed Transmogrification collection.

I wanted to take pictures for one of the outfits in this installment of the Sunday Mog Show at the Darkmoon Faire, so it got delayed by the calendar bug. It’s been so long now since the last installment that this one is a bit of an oversized edition, with multiple characters having two outfits in the show.

Astral Insight

Dazzling Spectacles, Celestial Observer’s Constellations Starshroud & Buckle, Pure Sight Vestments & Slippers, Formidable Legguards & Gauntlets, Lifepath Hammer, Melody Defender’s Bulwark
This ensemble is mostly a mashup of the Celestial Observer’s and Pure Sight sets. I thought it might look neat with some silver pants — and these bluish-silver Classic pants look like they were made to go with this chestpiece!

Soothsayer

Mystical Headwrap, Sympathetic Amice, Foxhollow Drape, Initiate’s Necromantle Vestments, Belt of Arcane Storms (N), Coalwalker Sandals (H), Jaina’s Staff
The coordination between the robe and the turban is the core concept of this kit.

August Celestial Observer

Celestial Observer’s Ensemble with Anacondra’s Robe, Cushy Cenarion Walkers, August Celestials Tabard, Starshard Edge, and Divine Companion
As I’ve mentioned before, I like the patterning on the sleeves and skirt of the Celestial Observer’s Robe, but I’m not a fan of its bulky dimensional chestplate. When I thought of substituting this robe, naturally I immediately had to do it.

Empyreal Aspirations

Empyrial Cosmic Crown, Waylight Shoulderpads, Drape of Twisted Loyalties, Aspiring Aspirant’s Robes & Handwraps, Cord of Uncertain Devotion, Ringo’s Blizzard Boots, Spectral Censorite’s Staff
These gold and white shoulders from Bastion leveling are rapidly becoming one of my favorite pieces from this expansion.

Inquisitor at Court II

Court Inquisitor’s Vestments with Gleaming Crypt Keeper’s Mantle, Soulbreaker’s Crimson Mantle & Sash, Sandswept Sandals, Sinfall Ceremonial Blade, and Anima-Infused Muck
More playing around with mix-and-match of the 9.0 and 9.1 Venthyr cosmetics. See also Blood Elf Mage #116 and Warlock #78.

A Black Dragon Princess

Circle of Flame, Ravencourt Formal Mantle, Shroud of Resolve (stage 1), Robe of Volatile Power, Wild Gladiator’s Cord of Cruelty, Ruby Slippers, Shadow Wing Focus Staff
Kazulyxia is the Black Dragonflight counterpart of Kazuligosa. She is, of course, wearing the robe made famous by Onyxia in her guise as Katrana Prestor. The rank 1 version of Wrathion’s Battle for Azeroth Legendary Cloak also seemed highly appropriate for this outfit.

A Blue Dragon Princess, Again

Windchaser Coronet, Slaughterhouse Spaulders, Celestial Observer’s Starshroud Buckle & Astral Walkers, Glacial Robe, Tempest’s Touch, Rod of the Broken Temple/Frostbitten Staff
Another Blue Dragonflight kit for Kazuligosa to complete this set of outfits representing the Classic dragonflights.
The Celestial Observer’s Starshroud is perfect for Blue Dragonflight RP because it evokes their ancient seat of power at the Eye of Eternity.
This kit has a fancy version and a plain version because I couldn’t decide which version I liked better.

Kaelyra and Kateleina have reached Renown 65 with their Covenants. They’ve upgraded their Anima Conductors to the desired level and have their Travel Networks at level 2. I will probably not get around to doing the Campaign questlines until I’ve got the Travel Networks fully upgraded.

I’ve realized that I’ll eventually need to do the grind to Renown 80 with all four Covenants. Kaelinda might want to use the Sparkle Wings toy, which requires Night Fae Renown 80; plus she needs Honored rep with Marasmius and the Court of Night to be able to use all of the Night Fae backpieces. Kaelyla might want to use the Countess and Baroness titles, which require Renown 80 with those Covenants to be used when not currently a member of the Covenant.

Aspiring Attendant

Aspiring Aspirant’s Regalia with Shadowlace Mantle, Shadowlace Cord, Ringo’s Blizzard Boots, and Warmage’s Spire
This set has no shoulders of its own; these ones look pretty good with it, don’t they?

Necrolord Initiate

Initiate’s Necromantle Vestments with Horns of the Left Hand Path and Baleful Spire
As expert as one may become in life, in death, one discovers that there is so much yet to learn.

Murex and Oxxein

Warmongering Gladiator’s Silk Cowl, Initiate’s Necromantle Shoulders & Vestments, Hexweave Belt (stage 1), Elder’s Gloves & Boots, Death Fetish, Staff of Beasts
I initially liked the concept of this Necrolords backpiece as “Soul Shards” for my Warlock. This color, which matches the oxxein ore of Maldraxxus, is probably the only one of the four which I will obtain. Two of the other three are rewards from the Abomination Factory, an activity which I have no interest in doing, and the last is a drop from a tricksy rare spawn.
Murex is the genus of sea snails that produce the dye known as Tyrian purple — which is actually a red-violet rather than this bluish-violet, but I liked how the “x”s in the names went together.

A Red Dragon Princess

Crafted Dreadful Gladiator’s Mooncloth Helm, Mantle of the Elven Kings, Butcher’s Wrap, Cindercloth Vest, Veteran’s Silk Belt, Crimson Silk Pantaloons, Harvester’s Court Slippers, Archmage’s Staff*
Kazulistrasza is the Red Dragonflight counterpart of Kazuligosa.

When I began to see other PCs around Oribos wearing the Celestial Observer’s Ensemble, I started to think of how I might want to mix-and-match with it… and so I bought it, despite my initial misgivings.

Star Chylde I

Celestial Observer’s Ensemble with Conqueror’s Nightsong Cover and Scythe of Elune (upgraded, 1st tint)
I wanted to use the Sentinel’s Branch with this outfit for a Kaldorei character–

–but she’s a Druid and darnit if the Scythe of Elune doesn’t just look phenomenal.

Star Chylde II

Celestial Observer’s Ensemble with Conqueror’s Nightsong Cover, Lo’ap’s Tunic of Muck Diving, Pure Sight Slippers, August Celestials Tabard, and Scythe of Elune (upgraded, 1st tint)
I like the details on the sleeves and skirt of the Celestial Observer’s Robe… but not the 3D chestplate piece.

Pearls and Diamonds

Court Inquisitor’s Hood, Waylight Shoulderpads, Sha’tari Anchorite’s Cloak, Astral Knot Robe*, Black Belt of Knowledge, Astralaan Boots, Aluneth (upgraded, 3rd tint)
I was thinking of this as a white and gold outfit while I was putting it together. When I got it finished, however, I realized that this robe is more silvery than white, which reminded me of pearls.

Plagues and Poisons

Fel-Proof Goggles, Shawl of the Penitent (LFR), Barbarous Osteowings, Robes of the Cursed Commando (LFR), Twisted Sisters Handwraps, Slippers of the Forgotten Heretic (LFR), Journey’s End/Staff of the Plague Beast
Journey’s End matches the color of the robe so nicely, but Staff of the Plague Beast makes the overall ensemble look better — and works for a thematic naming motif, too.

A Green Dragon Princess

Dreamweave Circlet, Gladiator’s Mooncloth Mantle, Gladiator’s Mooncloth Robe, Sandswept Sandals, Inscribed Serpent Staff
Kazuliryssa is the green dragonflight counterpart of Kazuligosa.

Some new Alter-Egos take the stage in this week’s Sunday Mog Show.

7th Legion Wizard

Arathi Warfront Alliance Cloth with Hidden Gloves, Crafted Cloak of War and 7th Legionnaire’s Stave
Patch 9.1.5 introduced natural hair colors for Void Elves, allowing me to at last create a character who is a never-left-the-Alliance High Elf! Kaelyra’s ideals of purity, humility, courage, wisdom, and loyalty draw her to the Kyrian.

Honorbound Wizard

Darckli’s Dragonfire Diadem, Honorbound Artificer’s Amice & Robes, Fearless Gladiator’s Silk Cord, Slippers of the Forgotten Heretic (LFR), Argent Conscript’s Drape (H), Bloodfire Greatstaff
More loyal to The Horde as an organization than many of my other characters, Kateleina’s ambition, might, insight, guile, and relentless desire for the success of those to whom she gives her loyalty make her an ideal candidate for the Necrolords.

A Bronze Dragon Princess

Bronze-Tinted Sunglasses, Robes of the Battleguard, Serenity Belt, Astralaan Pants, Griftah’s Authentic Troll Shoes, Fang of Nemaeus, Mawsworn Darkcaster’s Orb
Kazulidormi is the Bronze Dragonflight counterpart of Kazuilgosa.
See also Blood Elf Mage #99 for the pink glasses & robe version of this outfit.

Kaelinda reached Renown 80 this week. She promptly sent Broker Marks of Distinction to Kalaneia and Kamalia.
Kaelyla completed the 9.0 Night Fae Campaign, and reached Renown 80 from the final chapter.

Sin’Venthyr IV

Court Inquisitor’s Hood & Robes, Sin’dorei Pauldrons Belt & Slippers, Cuffs of Unrelenting Anguish, Fine Crimson Cloak, Golden Staff of the Sin’dorei
The wraps around the forearms are part of the Court Inquisitor’s Robes. These lovely Legion bracers dress them up even more nicely than the set bracers do.

All My Sins

Sinful Inquisitor’s Hood & Robes, Soulbreaker’s Ebony Mantle, Silver-Thread Sash, Master’s Gloves, Slippers of the Forgotten Heretic (LFR), Sawbones Shirt* (optional), Kael’s Dark Sinstone Chain, Rapier of the Fearless, Penelope’s Rose*
Once Kaelinda reached Renown 80, Baroness Kalaneia could promenade in Venthyr court attire. This particular coloration of the 9.1 Venthyr set suits Kalaneia marvelously.

Azure Dawn

Argent Conscript’s Circlet Mantle & Cord, Azure Dusk Vestments & Leggings, Faewoven Handwraps, Wild Gladiator’s Treads of Cruelty, Royal Blue Cloak, Pillar of the Dreamgrove
The Alliance version of the Argent Conscript’s set has just the right hues of blue and bronze to complement the Garb of the Azure Dusk.

Kaelinda is excited to have reached Renown 77 so she could get the red and gold version of the Venthyr ballgown.
Some other characters have new kits, too.

Inquisitor At Court

Court Inquisitor’s Vestments with Hidden Shoulders & Cloak, Cord of Unhinged Malice (H) and Avowed Arcanist’s Staff
This set does come with shoulders — though I think they look better with the trousers outfit — and also looks quite smashing with a variety of other red and gold shoulders. For a ball, though, the shoulders really should just be bare. I’m not a great fan of the wiggly belt of the set itself; for cloth-wearers, this Hellfire Citadel piece substitutes quite nicely.

Pure Spirit, Pure Sight

Garb of Pure Spirit with Expeditionary Cloth Hood (A), Cloak of Cheerful Flowers, and Ebonchill (upgraded, default tint)
The ensemble name for this set is “Pure Spirit”, but all the individual item names are “Pure Sight”. Seems to me like there must have been a name change decision that didn’t get fully propagated before Patch 9.1 went live…
The little pipes on the hip are a marvelous detail that I didn’t discover until I saw her on her flying disc!
Gaea’s Circlet or the Moonsoul Crown are nice alternative headpieces for Horde characters.

Pure Far-Sight

Garb of Pure Spirit with Dazzling Spectacles, Duskwarder Gavel, and Frostwolf Spiritguard Shield
The first thing I did after Patch 9.1.5 launched was bring Kamalia to Oribos and then to the Heart of the Forest. She had been wearing her Eternal Traveler outfit for almost a year, so she was very ready for a new outfit. At level 50 and 1 Renown, I am delighted that she can wear her covenant’s Renown 60 cosmetic armor!
This shield design from the Warlords of Draenor Shadowmoon Valley suite coordinates beautifully with the Ardenweald aesthetic.

Undying Exemplar

Horns of the Left Hand Path, Felsoul Shoulderpads, Green Woolen Vest (or any sleeveless tunic), Ruthless Gladiator’s Cord of Accuracy, Shrouded Cloth Pants, Ruthless Gladiator’s Felweave Handguards, Eelskin Flippers (LFR), Dune Shroud, Master Builder’s Shirt, Colors of the Undying Army, Boneclutched Stave
Kaelinda went to the effort of getting to Exalted with the Undying Army so that Kalaneia could do something like this as soon as she made it through the Maldraxxus storyline and declared her fealty to the Necrolords.

Rusticated

Drogstitch Chestguard, Fallen Runelord’s Belt, Grizzly Pants, Oilrag Handwraps*, Drogstitch Boots, Kihrawr’s Scratching Post
Kasheena wanted something simple, practical, and, most importantly, shoulder-less to show off her cute new beaded braids.

Just character selection screen pictures again for this installment of the Sunday Mog Show. School is keeping me particularly busy right now, so I just haven’t had the time or energy to go take pictures out in the world.

Crooked Soulbreaker

Soulbreaker’s Ebony Vestments with Hat of the Youngest Sister, Repression Belt, Noble’s Fancy Boots, Waycrest Guard’s Cloak, and Damnation
I had intended to do another iteration of the Sin’Venthyr concept next, but then it was Hallow’s End and I thought that one of the Crooked Tree hats might look good with the Campaign coloration of the Venthyr cloth gear.

Winter Moon

Winterborn Regalia with Snowblind Helm and Quarterstaff of Discordant Ethic
Kaelyla had just obtained the Winterborn Regalia when she reached Renown 60 and acquired the Garb of Pure Spirit. She decided to wear the Winterborn set first.
The tunic version of this outfit looks amazing with the Wild Hunt, August Celestials, Lightbringer, or Silver Covenant Tabards.

Spirit of the Blue Raven

Garb of Pure Spirit with Raven-Heart Headdress and Spire of Coagulated Globules (LFR)
Because Kaelyla has reached Renown 60, Kaurinka, who is only at Renown 51, can wear this ensemble.

Royal Guardian Serpent

Crown of the Righteous, Shoulders of Foaming Fluids (N), Royal Gown, Healer’s Belt of Final Winter (N), Eelskin Flippers (LFR), Fang of Nemaeus, Nathrian Tabernacle
This combo of Classic robe with Mists shoulders and belt is another of those ideas that has been in my Notebook for ages. Like most such ideas, the lengthy delay in creating the outfit has given me much better choices for the other pieces of the outfit than were available when I first had the idea.

Between school and three children under the age of five, I am way, way behind on Renown — Kaelinda has 62 Renown, Kaelyla has 55 Renown, Keliora has 34 Renown, and Kaurinka has 48 Renown — but I’m not fussed. I’ll still get to 80 Renown, eventually. Furthermore, it wouldn’t surprise me at all if Kaelinda has gotten to 80 Renown before she even sets foot in Korthia, given that I still want to do the other three 9.0 Covenant Campaigns before I begin the 9.1 Campaign.

Avatar

Tasteful Eyeglasses, Stylish Blue Shirt, Squallshaper Leggings, Stickyfoot Sandals, Fighter Broadsword + Tome of the Dawn
An attempt to make my Human Mages look like I do in the Real World, sort of. I wear my hair in a tail like Kaylynda most of the time, but it curls like Kayliddia’s hair when I wear it loose. My hair color is somewhere in between the orange of Kaylynda’s hair and the reddish-brown of Kayliddia’s hair. My body shape is definitely more Boralus than Stormwind.
The sword I chose is meant to represent these play swords that my husband spent much of the last year or two making.

They have an aluminum bar core encased in cardboard and/or foam, held together with wood glue or caulk or sewn cord, and, obviously, duct tape.

Pro Ram Racer

Onyx Glare-Reducers, Crimson Tunic*, Apothecary’s Waistband, Sage’s Pants, Bloody Surgeon’s Mitts, Warm Red Woolen Socks, Vengeful Gladiator’s Battle Staff/Nub’s Wand + Disciple’s Stein
Whether in the desert sands of Durotar or the alpine snows of Dun Morogh, some polarized shades would be helpful for reducing glare off of the ground while ram racing!
While Brewfest was going on, Kalaneia took a vacation from Maldraxxus to get a level of easy XP from the ram riding dailies.
This chestpiece came from an Alliance-exclusive questline in Theramore prior to Cataclysm. The perfectly matching pants only exist in leather; the cloth versions are blue or green, and I liked the blue better.

Sin’Venthyr III

Harvester’s Court Attire with Sin’dorei Pauldrons Gauntlets & Cloak and Rod of the Blazing Light
The Harvester’s Court boots are just the bulky gold-trimmed boots I’ve been wanting to go with the bulky gold-trimmed gloves of the Sin’dorei Heritage Armor.

Dreaming Wisteria

Moonpriest’s Visor, Hateful Gladiator’s Silk Amice, Robes of the Shadowcaster, Cord of Uncertain Devotion, Darkweave Breeches, Shadowlace Cuffs, Noble’s Fancy Boots, Moon Guard Drape, Night Courtier’s Spire
I acquired this staff for my Druid, thinking I wasn’t particularly interested in it for my Mage. Then I thought of pairing it with this robe and Khrysanthemina’s purple hair, and here we are.
A nice alternate hat for a Horde character would be the Fae Revel Masque:

Shado-Pan Anima Scholar

Replica Shado-Pan Helmet, Shoulderpads of Knowledge’s Pursuit, Amaranthine Robe, Gem-Inlaid Velvet Cinch, Noble’s Fancy Boots, Athame of the Sanguine Ritual (LFR), Inscribed Fan
Back in the day, I made all of my “major” characters go through the Shado-Pan reputation grind so that they could make Shado-Pan Helmet kits. I’m so glad that I don’t have to do that anymore!
This outfit is loosely derived from my Tauren Priest’s Shado-Pan outfit (#22); it shares the robe and fan off-hand.
The green gems and greenish glow on these Sunwell Plateau shoulders help tie the green-gold filigree of the Throne of Thunder dagger into the rest of the ensemble very nicely.

Kaelinda was wearing the first outfit shown here; then she reached Renown 60 and received the Venthyr Harvester’s Court Attire ensemble, and naturally she wanted to wear it right away.

Noblesse Oblige

Chief Architect’s Monocle, Duskhallow Mantle, Nobleman’s Coat & Pantaloons, Black Mageweave Gloves, Slippers of the Forgotten Heretic (LFR), Parrotfeather Cloak, Suen-Wo (LFR)
Although I seem to recall reading somewhere that the blood magic Anima of the Mogu is not the same thing as the Anima of the Shadowlands, Suen-Wo still makes a great weapon for a Venthyr-themed outfit.
I originally designed this ensemble with the monocle, but it also looks great with

the Duskhaven Top Hat or the LFR Crown of the Seducer.

Harvester At Court

Harvester’s Court Attire with Arcanoshatter Mantle (H), Hidden Belt, and Gilded Sineater’s Staff
This set has no shoulders of its own. In addition to the shoulders shown here, it also looks fabulous with:

the Court Inquisitor’s Mantle, Soulbreaker’s Crimson Mantle,

Shoulderpads of Knowledge’s Pursuit, Mantle of the Elven Kings, and Duskhallow Mantle.

~*~*~

Kayliddia donned the first of these outfits just after I posted installment 131 of the Sunday Mog Show. It didn’t make it into 132 for logistical reasons, but after I’d posted 132, I didn’t want to wait another indeterminate interval before changing her into the second of these outfits (which is also the end of this outfit series).

Charlotte’s Extensive Mind

Charlotte’s Chastizing Pauldrons, Robes of Rasped Breaths, Deeptide Cinch, Gloves of the Arcane Purge, Ikeyen’s Boots, Jaina’s Staff
Here we have these shoulders with the matching robe and gloves for the Northrend style set of which they are a part. The outfit name comes from Mantle of the Extensive Mind, which is identical to Charlotte’s Chastizing Pauldrons.

Tide Witch

Shirakess Headdress, Charlotte’s Chastizing Pauldrons, Squallshaper Vestments, Frost-Touched Cord, Sirensong Handwraps, Sirensong Slippers, Ebonchill (PvP, default tint)
To finish off this series, Kayliddia returns once more to her familiar, comfortable Tidesage robes. And it wanted the Nazjatar pirate hat, it just did.
