I was telling BTH about Shadowlands and how I was leveling a relatively new character (Kaelyla) to play in it. Talking to BTH about the characters I had been actively playing, I realized that while I enjoy my Boomkin and my Mages and my Destro-Lock, I missed my Elemental Shaman.

I recalled Kamalia from Thunder Bluff and sent her off to acquire her Shroud of Resolve.

I looked at the Covenant armor sets again and began to consider recalling Karaelia (Tauren Paladin) from the Sanctum of Light to get her Shroud of Resolve, too, because dangit if that Kyrian plate set doesn’t look pretty (though she’d wear it with alternate helm and shoulders).

Still, neither Kamalia nor Karaelia will be in the first group of characters to go to the Shadowlands — unless BTH decides to give Shadowlands a look and I bring Kam out to play with him.

Looking at the Kyrian sets again, I thought how Priestly the cloth set looks. I hadn’t yet used the level 120 Boost that came with purchasing Shadowlands (something I did shortly after Kaelyla dinged 120), partly because I couldn’t decide which existing character to give it to. I thought, I have a Blood Elf Mage and a Blood Elf Warlock, so why not have a Blood Elf Priest, too, to go Kyrian? Golden-eyed and golden-haired, of course…

So, um, yeah.
Four Eversong Elves for four Shadowlands Covenants.

Kaylynda will still go to the Shadowlands, but now she doesn’t have to choose Kyrian if she decides that she’d be a better fit with the Night Fae or the Venthyr…

Although I acquired the Heritage of the Sin’dorei a few weeks ago, I didn’t post a collection of outfits using it right away because it took me awhile to come up with ideas for how to use it with each of my Sin’dorei alts. I’ve also included the Heritage of the Ren’dorei in this collection, because with only one Ren’dorei alt, I’m not going to be making a whole set of Class-based variations on that ensemble.

Sin’dorei Sorcerer

Heritage of the Sin’dorei (robe version) with Golden Staff of the Sin’dorei
As the character who did the Heritage of the Sin’dorei questline, Kaelinda wanted to wear the whole set for just a little while before beginning to play mix-and-match with it.
I changed her title back from “Archmage” to “of Silvermoon” while wearing this ensemble, too.

Sin’dorei Smasher

Heritage of the Sin’dorei (tunic version) with Hammer of the Penitent
Before Kandrista’s hair was blue, it was golden.

Sin’dorei Summoner

Heritage of the Sin’dorei with Cindercloth Vest, Gloves of Tyri’s Power, Ebon Filigreed Doublet, Shroud of Resolve (rank 6), Athame of the Sanguine Ritual (LFR), and Book of Highborne Hymns
The Cindercloth Vest is a natural mix-and-match for the Sin’dorei Heritage Armor. So is the first upgraded appearance of the Shroud of Resolve. The set gloves, while very showy, are also very bulky; I wanted something slimmer for this ensemble.

Sin’dorei Striker

Heritage of the Sin’dorei with Felforged Chestplate, Crafted Dreadful Gladiator’s Clasp of Meditation, Blood Knight Tabard, and Blood-Tempered Ranseur*
The Sin’dorei chestpiece has a dimensional piece that displays over a tabard, so I had to swap it out to be able to use the Blood Knight tabard in this kit. The polearm is a legacy item from before Cataclysm.

Sin’dorei Swiftblade

Bloody Bandanna, Heritage of the Sin’dorei Pauldrons Leggings & Slippers, Cephalohide Jacket, Felshroud Belt & Gloves, The Sunbreaker
I got this Mythic coloration of the chestpiece of the Kul Tiras leather dungeon set from a lucky roll on an Azerite Armor 445 World Quest. It seemed like it would be a perfect fit for playing mix-and-match with the Sin’dorei Heritage Armor.

Sin’dorei Sharpshooter

Heritage of the Sin’dorei with Crown of Flame (N), Khan’s Chestpiece, Dreadmire Legguards, and Thas’dorah (upgraded, 3rd tint?)
There are other Sin’dorei-themed bows (Skyfire Hawk-Bow and Sunfury Bow of the Phoenix), which I would have used if there hadn’t been a red tint of Thas’dorah.

Sin’dorei Slayer

Primalstorm Breastplate, Taut Halyard Waistband, Heritage of the Sin’dorei Leggings & Gauntlets, Fearless Gladiator’s Felskin Boots, Twinblades of the Deceiver (default, first tint)
I almost used a different pair of gloves and had only the leggings of the Sin’dorei Heritage Armor in this set, but I decided that I really ought to have at least two pieces of the Heritage Armor in the kit for it to count as a “Heritage Armor” outfit. Although I really like the small set shoes for everything else I’ve done with the Sin’dorei Heritage Armor, for this outfit, I kind of wished that there were also big bulky showy boots that matched the design of the gloves.

Ren’dorei Ritualist

Heritage of the Ren’dorei with Purpleheart Wand + Ledger of Revolting Rituals (H)
Although it looks the void wings are attached to the pauldrons, they’re actually attached to the chestpiece.
The last picture also includes the Ren’dorei Tabard.

Heritage of the Sin’dorei/Ren’dorei outfits created after the original date of this post and added to it to keep all of my Heritage of the Sin’dorei/Ren’dorei kits in one easily-searchable location

~*~*~

Sin’dorei Soulguide

Heritage of the Sin’dorei with Demonic Gladiator’s Satin Hood, Girdle of Prophecy, Pantaloons of Growing Strife, Boots of Prophecy, Shroud of Resolve (rank 6), and Rod of the Blazing Light
I used the Sin’dorei Leggings with a different chestpiece for my Warlock (#66), so I decided to use the Sin’dorei Tunic with different pants for my Priest. Instead of finding slimmer gloves, like I did with my Warlock, I found some bulkier boots.

Silvermoon Resplendent

Resplendent Circlet, Sin’dorei Pauldrons Belt Gauntlets & Slippers, Silvermoon Robes, Shroud of Resolve (rank 6), Felo’melorn (upgraded, first tint)
But of course this was the robe that Kaelinda would choose first to mix-and-match with the Sin’dorei Heritage Armor.

Sin’dorei Scarlet

Whitemane’s Chapeau, Sin’dorei Pauldrons Belt & Slippers, Scarlet Sin’dorei Robes, Shroud of Resolve (rank 6), Light’s Wrath (hidden, default tint)
This outfit is similar to Kaohana’s “Crimson Pilgrim” kit (Priest #71), with Sin’dorei Heritage items replacing the accessory pieces.

Goldensun

Heritage of the Sin’dorei with Nightvale Cowl, Hidden chestpiece, Silvermoon Doublet, Grom’tor’s Bloodied Bandage, Mantle of Silvermoon, and Felo’melorn (default, first tint)
The dimensional piece of the Sin’dorei chestpiece displays over tabards, so to make a kit with the Silvermoon Tabard, I needed to Hide it. I ended up using the Silvermoon Doublet instead, however, because it looks exactly like the Silvermoon Tabard with the Scarlet Filigreed Shirt worn underneath, only without the awkward lower flap of the tabard.
The headpiece prompted the name I gave this kit; I find it amusing that the Quel’dorei exiles who fled to the eastern continent named their city “Silvermoon”, only to turn away from the night and the silver moon toward the day and the golden sun.

Sin’Venthyr

Sin’dorei Helm & Tunic, Soulbreaker’s Crimson Mantle Leggings & Slippers, Corpse-Stitcher’s Cord, Primal Combatant’s Gloves of Prowess, Shadowfeather Shawl, Gilded Sineater’s Staff
A first go at mashing up the Heritage of the Sin’dorei and Venthyr Renown armor sets.
My Blood Elf Paladin is currently wearing this hat with this hairstyle, and they just suit each other so well. Using this hairstyle was too much of a change for Kaelinda, however. It works for Kaelydia, though — maybe because she has golden eyes, like the Paladin?

Sin’Venthyr II

Crown of the Champion, Sin’dorei Pauldrons Belt & Slippers, Soulbreaker’s Crimson Vestments, Wild Gladiator’s Gloves of Prowess, Mantle of Crimson Blades, House Renathal Ceremonial Dagger + Red Crane Scepter

~*~*~

Full of Stars

Ren’dorei Mantle Belt & Leggings, Popular Pupil’s Mitts, Corpse-Stitcher’s Treads, Rich Purple Silk Shirt, Aluneth (default, Light’s Hope tint)
Kaelyla will choose the Night Fae because she has discovered that being in Ardenweald somehow soothes and quiets the whispers of the Void, whereas the other realms agitate them and make them harder to push away. Out-of-character, however, Kaelyla’s fate to choose the Night Fae is all about aesthetics. This outfit is intended to highlight the similarities between certain aspects of the Ren’dorei visual aesthetic and the Ardenweald/Night Fae visual aesthetic.

Under Eternal Starlight

Blood-Cursed Shoulderpads, Ren’dorei Mantle & Gloves, Demonic Gladiator’s Silk Cord, Eternal Sarong, Willow Boots, Demonic Gladiator’s Silken Shawl, Stylish Blue Shirt, Apostle of Argus/Inkgill Blade + Ephial’s Grimoire
Kaelyla had been wearing her “Full of Stars” outfit for so long by the time she finally got through all of the Ardenweald main story quests that have nifty on-quest visuals — and dinged level 60 — that she was quite anxious for a change. This combo of shoulders, Ren’dorei chestpiece, and kilt was what she’d been wanting to wear next. Figuring out the rest of the kit, however, took a bit of iteration.

Stars’ Grace

Vestia’s Pauldrons of Inner Grace, Ren’dorei Mantle & Belt, Bonecaster’s Sarong, Gloves of Penitence, Willow Boots, Periwinkle Cloak, Lavender Mageweave Shirt, Starshard Edge + Decanter of Distilled Shadows

This series of posts began because I set myself a goal to document new Transmogrification outfits in a more timely fashion. As soon as I create a new outfit, I write it up in a draft post. As the weekend approaches, I start working on taking fashion screenshots, processing them, and updating “Things my [Class] Wears” posts. On Sunday — though not every Sunday — I publish the collection of my recent efforts. Then I begin the next “Sunday on the Promenade” draft post.

Occasionally, I have ideas for themed Transmogrification collections that take several months to completely assemble. Thus, some of these outfits might get re-posted at a later date as part of such a themed Transmogrification collection.

51) Sin’dorei Swiftblade

Bloody Bandanna, Heritage of the Sin’dorei Pauldrons Leggings & Slippers, Cephalohide Jacket, Felshroud Belt & Gloves, The Sunbreaker
I got this Mythic coloration of the chestpiece of the Kul Tiras leather dungeon set from a lucky roll on an Azerite Armor 445 World Quest. It seemed like it would be a perfect fit for playing mix-and-match with the Sin’dorei Heritage Armor.

How I entertained myself during the college meeting I attended yesterday. I drew the lineart during the meeting, at any rate; I did the colors (Crayola colored pencil) that night at home.

After I drew these two, I thought that their proportions weren’t quite chibi enough, so I tried again.
I did Kaelinda first, then Kaelydia, then the others from right to left.

Kaelyla, Kishalla, Kalaneia, Kaelinda, Kaelydia

Transmog Pop Quiz: Can you identify the robe that each of these characters is wearing?

Kaelyla is a Void Elf.

With the Orb of the Sin’dorei, she can become a Blood Elf.

With the Orb of Deception, she can become a Nightborne.

And by entering the Well of Eternity, she can become a Night Elf.

So if you want to be All The Elves and side with the Alliance, roll a Void Elf.
If you want to be All The Elves and side with the Horde, roll a Nightborne.

70) What Do You Call An Elf Who Lives IN SPACE? A Vulcan.

Blue Linen Shirt, Lava-Starched Britches, Cuffs of Unrelenting Anguish, Duskhaven Boots, Guardian Swiftblade of Kra’nak, Spring Gadget
This outfit is a very, very old Hallow’s End costume idea of mine. The short ears and darker black hair now allow even more verisimilitude to the Classic Trek Vulcan look (these appearance changes are temporary, just for the costume). The Spring Gadget is a tricorder, of course. I’m not quite sure why this Arakkoa blade seems like an antique Vulcan sort of sword design to me, but it does.

69) Ribbons of Fire

Circle of Flame, Mantle of Dissemination, Vermillion Robes of the Dominant, Wild Gladiator’s Gloves of Prowess + Hidden Bracers, Sin’dorei Slippers, Orange Mageweave Shirt, Spire of Scarlet Pain (N)
This is a robe & shoulders combo that’s been on my “to do” list for a long time.
I love how Incinerate looks like a sheet of fire rippling toward the enemy. Green fire wouldn’t have seemed quite right with this kit, though, so Kalaneia paid a visit to Jubeka in Outland to get her fire spells purged of fel… for the time being.

68) Zuldazzling

Sandspinner Headdress, Sandspinner Mantle, Greenweave Vest, Councillor’s Sash, Astralaan Pants, Shimmering Gloves + Elunarian Cuffs, Elunarian Boots, Drape of the Spellweaver, Formal White Shirt, Talanji’s Expedition Tabard, Warmongering Combatant’s Battle Staff
A green variation on Kaelinda’s outfit #69. I also made a blue variation; see Keliora’s #4.

Nazmiracle — red blood for Nazmir; Vol’dandy — blue sky for Vol’dun; Zuldazzling — green jungle for Zuldazar.

67) Solemnity

Chief Architect’s Monocle, Black Mageweave Vest, Primal Gladiator’s Cord of Victory, Vileweave Leggings, Hexweave Gloves (stage 3), Volatile Walkers (LFR), Ebon Filigreed Doublet, Staff of Andorhal
I’ve wanted to make a Black Mageweave Vest outfit that uses less-revealing pants than are normally worn with this chestpiece for a long time, but hadn’t quite gotten around to it. Presently, it occurred to me that the metallic tones in the LFR version of the Uldir cloth set were just right to match with the silvery tones in the Black Mageweave Vest. Then I couldn’t make the kit until I’d patiently farmed the first boss of Uldir long enough for these boots to drop. And then I was pleasantly surprised by how nicely the Hexweave Gloves coordinated with the Uldir boots.

66) Sin’dorei Summoner

Heritage of the Sin’dorei with Cindercloth Vest, Gloves of Tyri’s Power, Ebon Filigreed Doublet, Shroud of Resolve (rank 6), Athame of the Sanguine Ritual (LFR), and Book of Highborne Hymns
The Cindercloth Vest is a natural mix-and-match for the Sin’dorei Heritage Armor. So is the first upgraded appearance of the Shroud of Resolve. The set gloves, while very showy, are also very bulky; I wanted something slimmer for this ensemble.

65) Muddied Waters

Steamburst Robe, Waterfall Cord, Gandling’s Gloves, Skydancer Boots (LFR), Selis’ Silk Shirt, Void-Warped Oshu’gun Spellstaff
The first outfit I made with this robe (Priest #38) was rather silly, so it was about time that I made a somewhat better one.
Serendipitously, Kishalla’s cherry red hair matches the shoulder tattoo color on this version of the robe quite nicely.

64) Deepwild Plantwitch

Headdress of the First Empire, Auchenai Keeper Robe, Aqu’sirr’s Swirling Sash (N), Deeptide Slippers, Neophyte’s Shirt, Kihrawr’s Scratching Post
I was inspired to create this outfit by a Void Elf Priest I saw in Boralus who was wearing the blue versions of the robe and belt.
If I ever got a WoW tattoo (which I probably won’t), I might choose the nifty little shoulder glyph from this style of robe.

63) Voidbringer

Mish’undare, Voidheart Mantle, Selis’ Silk Shirt, Mana-Cord of Deception (N), Plaguebringer’s Legwraps Gloves & Boots, Ashjra’kamas (rank 1), Inkgill Blade, Uldir Subject Manifest (LFR)
So, I thought I’d see what I could do with the pants of the Horde Darkshore Warfront cloth set. I also wanted to use this cool book from Uldir. I couldn’t quite find a chestpiece that I really liked, so I decided to try hiding the chestpiece and showing off a shirt. The Stylish Black Shirt also looks great in this ensemble.

62) Epic Wicked Witch

Wicked Witch’s Hat, Magnificent Aeroglide Shoulderpads, Plaguebringer’s Robe, Mana Cord of Deception, Plaguebringer’s Gloves, Pulverizing Felsoles, Ashjra’kamas, Shroud of Resolve (rank 1), Electrowing Dagger (H) + Ledger of Revolting Rituals (H)/Baleful Spire
I refused to participate in the Darkshore Warfront on the Horde side. Collecting the Alliance version of the Darkshore Warfront set, however, also awarded me the Horde version. The only pieces I really like out of the Horde version are the robe and gloves, so I thought I’d see what I could do with them for my Warlock.
See also “Classic Wicked Witch” (Human Mage #32), “Fancy Wicked Witch” (Blood Elf Mage #25), and “Miss Aria” (Human Mage #72).

61) Helya Couldn’t Hold Me

Shirakess Headress & Mantle, Ivycloth Tunic, Belt of Unsolvable Problems, Rowdy Reveler’s Legwraps, Gloves & Sandals of the Chosen Dead, Scar-Shell’s Scintillating Staff
This kit was built around the combination of this Classic tunic and the pants from the Normal Zandalar dungeon set. It turned out more… piratey than I anticipated.

Blizzard has just announced that in Shadowlands. not only will Blood & Void Elves be able to have blue eyes, Void Elves will be able to have human-like (ie, palest pink to deepest brown range) skin tones!
I’m pretty excited about this 😀

Kaelinda will change her eyes to blue.
I will also change Kaelyla’s eyes to blue; the silver doesn’t really work for me (and is one of the reasons why I have a hard time connecting with my Draenei, Night Elf, and Nightborne alts, as well).
I’ve begun to get used to Kaelyla’s lavender skin, so I might only change her skin to pink when she is wearing outfits that represent her backstory — things she did before the Telogrus Rift Incident.

I haven’t commented yet on the recent preview of new hairstyles, ear lengths, and necklaces for female Blood Elves, so now is as good a time as any.
*The longest of the ear lengths shown appears to be the current ear length. I like the long, long ears as a distinctive marker of Blizzard’s interpretation of Elves, so I’m unlikely to change my characters’ ears.
*I’m most likely to use the necklaces and new earrings on a situational basis, when they are the perfect finishing touch for an outfit that I’m designing, rather than as a permanent change to any of my characters’ apperances.
*I love all three of the new hairstyles! The pixie cut is cuter than any of the current super-short styles, the queen style is stunningly gorgeous, and the femme Lor’themar style is about time. I’ll probably also use these on a situational basis, to complement an outfit — though the femme Lor’themar just might become my Blood Elf Paladin’s new default style.

90) Goldensun

89) Silvermoon Resplendent

Resplendent Circlet, Sin’dorei Pauldrons Belt Gauntlets & Slippers, Silvermoon Robes, Shroud of Resolve (rank 6), Felo’melorn (upgraded, first tint)
But of course this was the robe that Kaelinda would choose first to mix-and-match with the Sin’dorei Heritage Armor.

88) Sin’dorei Sorcerer

Heritage of the Sin’dorei (robe version) with Golden Staff of the Sin’dorei
As the character who did the Heritage of the Sin’dorei questline, Kaelinda wanted to wear the whole set for just a little while before beginning to play mix-and-match with it.
I changed her title back from “Archmage” to “of Silvermoon” while wearing this ensemble, too.

87) Kirin Tor of Dalaran IV

Darkmist Wizard Hat, Shoulderpads of Twisted Fate (H), Tia Shortsleeve’s Short Sleeve Shirt, Hidden Belt, Khadgar’s Kilt of Abjuration, Pyrotex Ignition Cloth, Ringo’s Blizzard Boots, Drape of the Lithe, Aluneth (upgraded, 3rd tint)
I originally designed and iterated upon this outfit for my Human Mage (#31, #45 & #61) using the Alliance-exclusive Kirin Tor Offensive Tabard from the Isle of Thunder in Pandaria. When the tabard design became available as a shirt during Free T-Shirt Day, I could finally make it for Kaelinda — who has always considered herself to be more loyal to the Kirin Tor than to the Sunreavers — as well.
I’d love to use the Normal-mode Runebound Mantle/Corrupted Mantle of the Felseekers with this kit–

— but Antorus isn’t quite soloable for players of my skill level yet.

86) Legion’s Downfall

Cowl of the Illidari High Lord/Fel-Proof Goggles, Sanctified Bloodmage Shoulderpads, Silkweave Robe & Cinch, Leggings of the Seventh Circle, Warmongering Gladiator’s Silk Handguards, Void Slippers, Legionfall Tabard, Shimmershell Cape, Vengeance Staff
Inspired, perhaps, by Kinevra’s return to the Broken Isles to obtain her Archmage title, Kaelinda returned to the Broken Isles to complete the Legionfall Campaign and obtain the Archmage’s Prismatic Disc. Upon achieving this objective, she decided that she needed a Legionfall tabard kit — and it needed to use these spectacular Outland pants. This also seemed like a good opportunity to wear this Black Temple hat, if only for the photoshoot — for continuous wear, the Fel-Proof Goggles are less cumbersome and more attractive.

85) Sunchaser

Crown of Endless Knowledge, Mantle of Tirisfal, Silvermoon Robes, Black Belt of Knowledge, Noble’s Fancy Boots, Staff of the Sunchaser
A Silvermoon outfit for Kaelinda to wear while pursuing the Heritage of the Sin’dorei questline.

84) Flames Like Feathers/Frost Like Feathers/Mana Like Feathers

Orange: Jewel of the Firelord, Mantle of Closed Doors (N), Silksand Wraps, Lava-Starched Britches, Noble’s Fancy Boots, Tabard of Summer Flames, Wild Combatant’s Energy Staff

Blue: Crown of Eternal Winter, Frostwind Mantle, Sage’s Robe, Lava-Starched Britches, Noble’s Fancy Boots, Tabard of Summer Skies, Warmongering Combatant’s Energy Staff

Purple: Mantle of Closed Doors (H), Raincaller Robes, Lava-Starched Britches, Noble’s Fancy Boots, Order of the Awakened Tabard, Emanating Staff of Shadow
This robe style is available in both cloth and leather, and both cloth and leather have firey, feathery shoulders to wear with it. Compare Druid #76 for the leather version.

83) Queen of Blood and Embers

Crown of the Seducer, Honorbound Artificer’s Amice, Sanctified Bloodmage Robe (25H), Embersilk Cord, Primal Combatant’s Gloves of Prowess, Noble’s Fancy Boots, Vindictive Gladiator’s Ironskin Cloak, Stylish Black Shirt, Starrgo’s Walking Stick
While I was working on Kinevra’s outfit for the Dazar’alor LFR crown, I thought that the combination of this robe with the crown looked magnificent. It wasn’t quite right for Kinevra, but it would be great for Kaelinda!
If only it didn’t use a number of Horde-specific PvP items, this outfit would look fabulous on a Dark Iron Dwarf.

82) Jeweled Serpent

Headdress of the First Empire, Brood Cleanser’s Amice, Robes of the Reborn Serpent, Excavator’s Safety Belt, Handwraps of Oscillating Polarity, Sandswept Sandals, Drape of the Loyal Vassal, Legacy of Arlokk
This set, collected from Normal Zandalar dungeons, is so pretty. Serendipitously, I saw a dude at the Great Seal who was also wearing the set, allowing me to capture the gender dimorphism in the design of the robe.
I think that this staff from Zul’Gurub looks better with it than the Staff of the Lightning Serpent from Temple of Sethraliss does, though.

81) Deep Tides

Deeptide set with Stagheart Staff
This is the Nazjatar zone drop recolor of the Benthic cloth set. As with the leather Nazjatar armor, I prefer the grey and softer green of the zone drop version of the set to the red and brighter green of the Benthic version of the set.
I love how this hat is a combination of a wizard hat and a tricorne!

Wowhead has a preview up of new Blood Elf customization options in Shadowlands. Kaelinda will be quite happy to get her blue eyes back! When I created my Blood Elf Hunter, Karolissa, I gave her the most tan of the existing skin tones and the black hair. When the new customizations go live (perhaps in the pre-launch patch?), I plan to change her hair color to the new, darker black hair color and to change her skin tone to the one of new more deeply tanned skin tones. Though I don’t know if I’ll use the new darker brown hair colors or skin tones for any of my own characters, I am looking forward to seeing brown-haired or brown-skinned Blood Elf player characters and NPCs starting to show up around the world.

Of the new customization options for other races that have been found & previewed so far, I’m very happy to see all the new hair color and skin tone options. My Night Elf Mage might just have to try out the pink hair or the golden hair for awhile, and my Night Elf Druid will want to try out the true black hair. My Dwarf Kjerstin will be running out to get herself some tattoos as soon as they become available. I’m not a fan of the makeup options, though! They all just look silly to me.

A collection of outfits actually worn in-game by my Blood Elf Death Knight. Outfits are listed from most recent to least recent. Items that are no longer obtainable are marked with an asterisk (*).

Some of the outfits in this collection are legitimate Transmogrification kits for a plate-wearing character. Others are RP-Clothes costumes intended to imitate the look of the blue-haired Kirin Tor-affiliated elves found in various locations. I’m not sure if these NPCs are actually supposed to be High Elves that have become blue-haired because of their exposure to arcane energy, or blue dragons in humanoid form. At any rate, the only way to achieve that appearance as a player character (prior to Shadowlands) is to be a Blood Elf Death Knight.

15) Icy Ebon Blades

Night Commander’s Pauldrons, Primal Gladiator’s Plate Breastplate & Legplates, Bogslayer Belt, Lucidity Handwraps, Treads of the Common Man, Sentinel’s Winter Cloak, Tabard of the Ebon Blade, Icy Ebon Blade
When the new appearance customization options debuted with the Shadowlands pre-patch, the formerly Death Knight-exclusive blue hair colors became availalbe to all Blood Elves. I gave Kandrista one of the Death Knight-exclusive skin tones instead, which changed her face, as well. I also switched her hair back to blue. Eventually, she tired of her blue hair clashing with the red and gold of the Sin’dorei Heritage Armor, and she didn’t have an Ebon Blade kit yet.

14) Sin’dorei Smasher

Heritage of the Sin’dorei (tunic version) with Hammer of the Penitent
Before Kandrista’s hair was blue, it was golden.

13) Long Bitter Night

Crown of Eternal Winter, Razorfin Shoulderguards, Battleplate of Ancient Kings (N), Swordhook Slingbelt, Legguards of the Emerald Brood (N), Magma Plated Handguards (N), Treads of Savage Beatings, Chromatically Tempered Sword
Kandrista gets to wear this outfit because, at level 111, she can use the Razorfin Shoulderguards, whereas Kaumaleia, at level 104, cannot.
I dithered for some time between this sword and Hailstorm.

I ultimately chose the Chromatically Tempered Sword because felt like its black detailing pulled the ensemble as a whole together more nicely.

12) Winter’s Kiss

Crown of Everlasting Fortune, Symbolic Pauldrons, Iceguard Breastplate, Royal Qiraji Belt, Iceguard Leggings, Warleader’s Gauntlets & Greaves, Sonic Spear
The flower crown takes this outfit concept to eleven.

11) Everlasting Loveliness

Crown of Everlasting Fortune, Lovely Blue Dress, Iceguard Leggings, Boots of the Fallen Hero, Decalcified Elven Spear
As of Lunar Festival in 2020, the flower crowns can now be Mogged year-round, making this Love is in the Air outfit possible!
