It didn’t take me long to advance from Archaeology novice to Assistant Professor (12 Dec), then to Associate Professor (18 Feb).
Then, between searching for Tyrande’s Favorite Doll with Kamalia and the Fossilized Raptor with Ketura, I got kind of burned out on Archaeology for awhile. I’ve been on Standby on raid night about once every three weeks recently, though, so I’ve been spending that time digging first in Outland, then in Northrend. When I was on Standby this Wednesday, I managed to collect all the pieces of the Puzzle-Box of Yogg-Saron, and finally, finally achieved tenure!
I have not yet DUG UP ALL THE THINGS. Because I’ve been doing all my digging lately in Outland and Northrend, I haven’t found any of the new Fossil rares, and I’ve only found one of the three Troll rares. I’m still missing about half of the Tol’vir rares, and I’ve barely collected any Dwarf relics at all. So Kamalia will continue doing Archaeology when she is on Standby.
While running around Outland and Northrend searching for digsites, I have stumbled across some rare spawn creatures.
This morning, Kamalia finished collecting her last set of Marks of the World Tree and recruited the Ancients.
She has talked to all the Druids, waved to all her old friends, and killed all the lieutenants of Ragnaros who dare to show their faces in the Regrowth.
Goodbye, Molten Front!
Also this week, we defeated Heroic Alysrazor! And Kalexia, my Time-Capsule Goblin who lives in the Town-in-a-Box on the Lost Isles, picked the silverleaf that grows just outside town, as she does every time I log in with her (once every couple of weeks), and found herself suddenly much more Talented.
Congrats x11! π
Thanks! XD
Well done on finishing the Molten Front grind, as such. Think it was worth it? Heck, I haven’t been back since I got my mount and goodies XD

Well, Kamalia collects hippogryphs (and is still SO SAD π₯ that she can’t get the pretty Silver Covenant hippogryph), so yes, it was worth it for that. And it was worth it for all the skins I got off the flame spiders while doing the Shadow Wardens quests, and for the Volatile Fires I could send to my alchemist, and for the storyline (however goofy it was). Kamalia probably won’t ever go back to the Molten Front, but I’ll be continuing to do those dailies with Kerisa at least until she can complete “Filling the Moonwell”. There are a couple of items Kerisa could use from that vendor, and, as a Druid, she definitely will want to see Hamuul healed and grieve for the tragedy of Leyara.
Hey I sent you an email- can you check for it?
Thanks,
Chatmay (Wow Debutante)
