A collection of Transmogrification Kits actually worn in-game by my Tauren Monks. Outfits are listed from most recent to least recent. Items that are no longer obtainable are marked with an asterisk (*).

72) Russet Dragon

Orgrimmar Spaulders, Sunsoaked Vest, Cruel Gladiator’s Ironskin Belt Gloves & Slippers, Hemet’s Leather Legguards, Improvisational Historian’s Cloak, Fu Zan (PvP, default tint)
I thought that these Mists leveling items would coordinate nicely with these Legion PvP items; the Orgrimmar shoulders were a pleasant surprise.

71) Mist Globes

Warmongering Gladiator’s Ironskin Helm, Fierce Gladiator’s Ironskin Spaulders, Sunset Leather Tunic, Brown Belt of Humbling Gravity, Leggings of the Chosen Dead (N), Loamflake Bracers*, Grandmaster’s Footwraps, Staff of Ox-Hoof Thunder
This kit is all about these fabulous shoulders from the PvP recolor of the Antorus Monk set. While I was putting it together, I’d originally chosen a fancier chestpiece. After I’d assembled the other items, I reviewed chestpiece options again and this one jumped out at me as being the right shade of brown to coordinate with the other items I’d chosen, and its plain, practical style was perfect for allowing the shoulders to really stand out.

A collection of Transmogrification Kits actually worn in-game by my Night Elf Druid. Outfits are listed from most recent to least recent. Items that are no longer obtainable are marked with an asterisk (*).

23) Moonfrost

Crown of Eternal Winter/Crown of Everlasting Fortune, Shoulderpads & Leggings of the Chosen Dead, Lo’ap’s Tunic, Briarback Cinch, Trickster’s Handwraps, Boots of the Forked Road, Jaded Crystal Dagger
I designed this outfit some time ago, but decided to delay using it until I’d unlocked the Night Warrior appearance because I thought it would look even more awesome against that complexion.

22) Moon Shadow

Replica Darkmantle Armor with Crown of Eternal Memorial, Blue Martial Shirt, and Vibro Knife
Kerithian had no love for Teldrassil, but Kivrin did. Thus, Kivrin was affected by the splash from Tyrande’s transformation into the Night Warrior, but Kerithian was not.
I have had this in mind for Kivrin ever since the Night Warrior customization for Night Elves became available. She had just been patiently waiting for Kinevra to get to 120 and witness Tyrande’s ascension.

21) Everlasting Efflorescence

Crown of Boundless Courage, Cenarion Spaulders, Chestpiece of Malorne, Vine Waistband, Clefthoof Hide Leggings, Forest Leather Gloves, Forestlord Striders, Gossamer-Spun Greatcloak, Staff of the Verdant Circle
There were several different items that I wanted to be in this kit — the flower crown, the leafy shoulders, the staff, the kilt. Sometimes I have an idea for a group of items to put in an outfit and just can’t get it to work, so I was glad that I was able to find other pieces that pulled this outfit together quite nicely.

79) Valorous Dreamwalker

Valorous Dreamwalker set with Unwavering Stare and Scythe of Elune (default, 4th tint)
This seemed like an appropriate set for Kerisa to wear while doing the “A Fresh Trauma” and “In Darkness, I Dream” questlines for the Heart of Azeroth.

78) Fathomstalker/Slithershell

Fathomstalker/Slithershell set with Plundered Oracle Fin Staff
The Fathomstalker set is the leather Benthic armor set from Nazjatar. The Slithershell set is the Nazjatar zone drop recolor of the Fathomstalker set. I prefer the soft grey and muted green colors of the Slithershell set.

77) We Are All Akunda

Crown of Infinite Prosperity, Demonic Gladiator’s Dragonhide Vest/Sentinel Breastplate, Vine Waistband, Noblewoman’s Skirt, Griftah’s Authentic Troll Shoes, Stormsky Greatcloak, Sethrak Warden’s Staff
The worshippers of Akunda are all named “Akunda the [adjective]” when you first meet them, which makes them seem like rather creepy cultists. After the corrupt cult leader is overthrown, Akunda’s worshipppers remain devoted to the loa himself, but they regain their own unique names.
The male NPCs wear Meowl’s Mane instead of the flower crown. The NPCs are wearing the Mythic coloration of the Antorus Druid Tier chestpiece. I only have access to the PvP version (Yay Legion BoA Marks of Honor!), so my version of this outfit is much too dark in the chestpiece when I use the correct style. Of the other options I had available in my collection, I thought that the Sentinel Breastplate was the best approximation of both the colors and the style.

76) Blossoming Wilds

Crown of Boundless Courage, Palm Frond Shoulderpads, Jinxed Hoodoo Skin, Moss Cinch, Jinxed Hoodoo Kilt, Jangdor’s Handcrafted Gloves, Staff of the Verdant Circle
Kasheena wanted to wear the pink flowers, too. These pastel green items seemed like the nicest things to wear with them from her current Transmogrification level bracket.

75) Dreaming Glory

Crown of Boundless Courage, Mantle of Autumn, Pink Mageweave Shirt, Headhunter’s Belt, Luminary Kilt, Gloves of the Fang, Spire of Coagulated Globules (N)
Kerisa got tired of being moody and gloomy and wanted to wear pink flowers and be bright and cheerful again.

74) Blood Moon

Crown of Eternal Memorial, Gladiator’s Wyrmhide Spaulders, Vest of Flowing Water, Feral Cord, Gloomtalon’s Spare Kilt, Rapscallion Boots, Talon Guard Staff
It must be the gloomy influences of Nazmir, Drustvar, and Darkshore that made Kerisa want to go dark for her Lunar Festival outfit this year.

73) Druid of the Cycle II

Antlers of Malorne, Thunderlord Shoulderguards, Ancestral Chieftain’s Armor, Ferocious Gladiator’s Dragonhide Belt, Savage Leggings, Gloves of the Flayed, Wild Gladiator’s Boots of Victory, Antiseptic-Soaked Dressing, Twin’s Pact
The rattling bones of the Tauren Heritage Armor chestpiece suggested a variation on the Drust/Kul Tiran Druid Forms-inspired outfit that I originally created for my Night Elf Druid (Kerithian’s kit #16).

72) Preened Feathers

Preened Tribal War Feathers, Preened Ironfeather Shoulders, Preened Ironfeather Breastplate, Preened Wildfeather Leggings, Nimble Leather Gloves, Swashbuckler’s Boots, Staff of Orgrimmar*
This hardly counts as a Mog at all because half of it is just the default appearances of the Intellect leather Heirloom items — but I am rather pleased with how I’ve found some gloves and boots that complement the pants so nicely.
Why are the Heirloom pants not the same color as the Heirloom shoulders and chestpiece? I suppose we will never know — but it does make wearing them un-Mogged look a bit odd.

71) Ancestral Ghostwalker

Ancestral Chieftain’s Headdress Mantle & Greatbelt, Boneshredder Jerkin & Britches, Ghostwalker Gloves & Boots, Darksnare Dagger/Twin’s Pact
The white furs wanted to go together.

41) Red Suede Prom Dress

Chestguard of Insidious Desire, Illidari Belt, Gloomtalon’s Spare Kilt, Bard’s Gloves & Boots, Misery’s End
If I’m remembering correctly, two-piece formals started to come into style in the real world about a decade or so ago.
I tried this kit with Hidden gloves, but the chestpiece includes wrappings around the lower arms, and I decided that it just looked better with the matching gloves on.
The red version of the Glaive of the Fallen carried by the Illidari Enforcers on the Fel Hammer would be perfect for this outfit, but alas, it doesn’t seem to be available to players.

20) Spring Nights

Springrain Spaulders & Belt, Cuirass of Calamitous Fate, Kilt of the Night Strider, Duskbat Exterminator’s Treads, Springrain Staff
I wanted to see what I could do with this chestpiece and a kilt to make an outfit to wear while in Balance spec. The Springrain items have just the right shade of dulled gold on their trim to coordinate perfectly with the vest!

19) Calamity “K”

Netherstorm Eyepatch, Puncture-Binding Spaulder, Cuirass of Calamitous Fate, Briarback Cinch, Feather Lined Legguards, Karabor Skirmisher Gloves, Coarse Leather Treads (Kul Tiran), Shipwrecker Knife
I have wanted to use this Alliance-exclusive chestpiece since, well, the time that Trial of the Crusader was the current raid. Battle for Azeroth‘s Kul Tiran pieces complement it quite nicely.
Going Feral, with the Fangs of Ashamane equipped, lets my Druid play at being a Rogue.
I’m rather amused that using the darkest green hair color on my Night Elf gives her Orb of the Sin’dorei-Blood Elf-equivalent the darkest red hair color.

18) T-Shirt Enthusiast

Shirtsi’s Cloth Shirt

Threads of Tirion

Selis’ Silk Shirt

Shuurt’s Precious

Jade’s Lovely Shirt

Tia Shortsleeve’s Short Sleeve Shirt

Gild’s Crewneck
with Nice Shorts and Goat Hide Boots

I chose Kerithian to collect the new shirts from the “Free T-Shirt Day” microholiday because she has Nice Shorts, cool sneakers, cute ponytails, and access to the Emerald Dreamway (which gives her almost as much mobility around Azeroth as a Mage).

17) In the Pale Moons’ Light

Conqueror’s Nightsong Cover, Flamefly Spaulders, Broodmother Armor, Wild Gladiator’s Belt of Prowess, Kurenai Kilt, Master Brewer’s Gloves, Mud Encrusted Boots, Archon Glaive
This kilt was very popular for Alliance Monk outfits near the beginning of Mists; this hat is Druid-specific, so a Monk version of this kit would just leave the head bare.

16) Druid of the Cycle

Antlers of Malorne, Thunderlord Shoulderguards, Slavebreaker Tunic, Cruel Gladiator’s Dragonhide Belt, Kurenai Kilt, Gloves of the Flayed, Coarse Leather Treads, Skullcutter of Trials
Death and decay are essential processes of the natural cycle and balance of life…
A creepy Drustvar-inspired kit. I’ll have to make a more cheerful Kurenai Kilt kit sometime in the future.

15) Kul Tiran Coarse Leather Armor

Coarse Leather Armor with Pork-Chopper Pike
The Alliance appearance of the Battle for Azeroth crafted leather armor matches the Darkwater quest set from Stormsong Valley. Horde characters can obtain this appearance by collecting the Briarback set of BOEs from the AH.
Although I have not historically been a fan of hoods, the hoods from the leather quest sets from the Broken Isles and Kul Tiras are really quite sleek and attractive.

14) Druid of the Talon

Dragonhawk Hat, Preened Ironfeather Shoulders, Vest of Sobbing, Narf’s Explosiveproof Strand, Oil Gush Leggings, Discarded Slaughterhouse Gloves, Scourgebane Treads, Fordragon Blades
I first saw this glaive carried by the Druids of the Talon at the Shrine of Aviana. I’d never noticed it as a player weapon before, so I assumed that it was an NPC-exclusive model. When the Wardrobe came out, I searched for it in the array of polearms that I hadn’t yet collected, but couldn’t find it, so I continued to think that it was an NPC-only model. Recently, Alunaria tipped me off that it is an Alliance-exclusive model from the Trial of the Crusader. My Horde Druid still can’t imitate the Druids of the Talon, but now my Alliance Druid can!
The NPCs are wearing a brown recolor of the Feralheart hat that isn’t available to players. The Dragonhawk Hat seemed like the best substitute.
Some of the other Druids of the Talon, most notably the female Tauren, are wearing the Phantasmal Headdress, a recolor of the shoulders that is only available to players in mail, the Vest of Restraint, and pants that match the vest but are unavailable to players.
The Druids of the Talon found at Skysea Ridge on Draenor-of-the-alternate-timeway are wearing different armor, but carry the same glaive.

13) Piebald Lagomorph

Black Spring Circlet, Ghostwalker Pads, Scouting Tunic, Dusky Belt, Wild Gladiator’s Leggings, Boneshredder Gloves, Scouting Boots or Spring Circlet, Taut Dragonhide Shoulderpads, Boneshredder Jerkin, Highlander’s Leather Girdle, Scouting Trousers, Bandit Gloves, Boneshredder Boots; Jin’do’s Verdict
I keep going back and forth on which version of this outfit I like better.

12) Ashamane’s Cub

Wild Combatant’s Dragonhide set with Conqueror’s Nightsong Cover, Coarse Leather Waistguard, Master Brewer’s Gloves, Kafa Leather Boots, and Fangs of Ashamane (default appearance)
A decade ago, when I was first beginning my journey in Azeroth, after creating our Tauren Shaman & Druid and playing with them for awhile, BTH and I thought it might be fun to create a pair of Alliance characters, too. We decided to make Super Stealth Buddies: he made a male Night Elf Rogue, and I made a female Night Elf Druid. That character was named Kivrin, after the protagonist of Connie Willis’s excellent Doomsday Book. We didn’t have as much fun with our Night Elves as we did with our Tauren, however, and eventually Kivrin got pruned from my growing alt roster. I reassigned her name; given the Black Plague setting of Doomsday Book, it seemed more appropriate to give the name Kivrin(ne) to a Forsaken character.
Kivrin now returns as a Feral-specced alter-ego of Kerithian. The original Kivrin had this hairstyle and color. She also had the “shadow” tattoo style that Kerithian now wears, but to further differentiate the two characters (because I’ve kept the skin tone and face the same), I’ve changed her tattoo style to the “blades” design that matches the markings on the face of the Night Elf Cat Form.

11) Heartwood

Cataclysmic Gladiator’s Dragonhide with Cenarion Helm, Furious Gladiator’s Wyrmhide Spaulders, Thatch Eave Vines, and G’hanir (original appearance, default tint)
I picked up this set for Marks of Honor in late Legion because it’s the outfit worn by Lyessa Bloomwatcher, the original keeper of G’hanir. When I was looking for something for Kerithian to wear to the Chamber of the Heart, its leafy green colors seemed like just the thing for the occasion.

Crown of Good Fortune, Deep Earth Shoulderwraps (N), Expensive Tunic, Darkwood Sentinel’s Cinch, Shado-Pan Reliquary Kilt (LFR), Twisted Wraithtalon Gloves, Hot Spring Sandals, Springrain Staff

I don’t know what you do and don’t have in your Wardrobe, Alunaria dear — I don’t have half of these items myself — but perhaps this will give you someplace to start?

After I made a pirate outfit for Kerithian to express my delight and gratitude for Alunaria’s generous gift of a Cap’n Crackers, a few of my other characters wanted to have pirate parrot outfits, too.

Hai Hai Birdie

First Mate Hat, Buccaneer’s Vest, Captain Sanders’s Sash, Vileweave Leggings, Exiled Dabbler’s Gloves, Buccaneer’s Boots, Stagheart Staff
I never quite caught on to the Pepe mania during Warlords. Nevertheless, I had to find out if it was possible to have a bird on one’s shoulder and a bird on one’s head.

Avast, Ye Lubbers

Puncture-Binding Spaulder, Burnt Leather Vest, Batskin Belt, X-52 Pilot’s Leggings, Bandit Gloves & Boots, Stagheart Warglaives
Because I wasn’t sure when I’d manage to get Kiralaira out to Zandalar, I watched the AH carefully for awhile to be able to acquire a set of Kul Tiras warglaives that could be used at level 110.
Cap’n Crackers suggested that I shouldn’t wait any longer to make a kit with them.

ARReady Got Enuff Crackers

Fleet Commander’s Hat, Gargantuan Mantle, Fierce Gladiator’s Leather Tunic Belt & Legguards, Bard’s Gloves & Boots, and Zorbin’s Mega-Chopper
Cap’n Crackers has to be Cap’n Crackers because there was already a pirate parrot pet named “Crackers” who would come sit on your shoulder when you /whistle at him. Crackers was originally the companion of Fleet Admiral Tethys. After Crackers defected to the Shadowblade during the Legionfall segment of the Rogue Order Hall campaign, Tethys replaced him with a monkey.
As awesome as the shoulders for the Antorus Rogue Tier set look, I had to trade them out for something a little smaller for this kit. They were too big for Crackers to perch on comfortably — though he’d sit on my shoulder when I first /whistled at him, as soon as I started moving, he’d start hovering over my head and would only come back to sitting on my shoulder if I sat down.

I didn’t go all out and make a complete collection with outfits for all the armor types because I haven’t a) leveled my Dwarf Paladin in Kul Tiras so I can use that armor style for the plate set or b) got a Kul Tiran Shaman to wear the mail set… yet.
