Oh, wow, did I ever have a lot of ideas for Transmogrification Template Kits to coordinate with Glaive of the Pit! I submitted my personal favorite to the contest, but I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the judges liked some of these outfits better.
I should also note that at the time that I made these outfits and wrote up this post at the beginning of this week, I had not looked at anyone else’s Mog Madness round 2 entries, except for Matty’s. When she called hers “Dress Blues”, I thought she must have come up with something very similar to the first set of TTKs shown below — she didn’t, though, which only goes to show how limited my imagination is!
Police Men
These outfits are all based around the Nexus-Strider chestpiece and leggings. They reuse the Thunderbringer’s Guard (Horde)/Princess Poobah’s Tiara (Alliance), Pauldrons of the Promise, Dreadhawk’s Girdle, and Permafrost Cape from my actual contest entry.
Left: Fastfuse Gloves, Felpaw Boots, Stormwind Tabard. This version, without the tabard, was very nearly what I chose for my actual contest entry.
Center: Triumphant Gauntlets and Radiant Boots
Right: Rift Stalker (T5) shoulders & gloves, Star-Strider Boots
Lords of Combat
I used a female character as the model to assemble these outfits in MogIt. Given the female styles of these particular chestpieces, I suppose I shouldn’t have been so surprised that the male versions ended up looking goofy instead of svelte and sultry. I have reused the helm and cloak from my actual contest entry.
Left: Pauldrons of the Promise, Mail Combat Armor, Dreadhawk’s Girdle, Electrostatic Legguards, Triumphant Gloves, Radiant Boots
Center: Grimtotem Spaulders, Lord’s chestpiece & belt, Ghostcaller’s Leggings, Fastfuse Gloves, Lord’s boots
Right: same as Center, except with Shoulders of Lightning Reflexes
Sly, Sneaky Druids
I couldn’t resist making some leather outfits for a Feral Druid, too. These ensembles all use the Glyphed chestpiece, Belt of Never-Ending Agony, Leggings of the Sly, Hydrolance Gloves, Bonechewer Shredboots, and Cloak of the Moon, then play a game of theme and variations with the helms and shoulders.
Far Left: Druidic Helmet of Second Sight, Passive Resistor Spaulders (Heroic)
Left: Whisperwind Headdress, Passive Resistor Spaulders (Normal)
Right: Cover of the Keepers, Feralheart shoulders
Far Right: Windscale Hood, Glyphed shoulders
The belt shown drops from C’thun; for those who don’t want to bother with assembling the right sort of group to get all the way through Anh’Qiraj, the Bonechewer belt and Moonrage Girdle also work quite nicely with the rest of the ensemble.
Really great looks, I cant wait to see what you picked to submit!
Of all of these, I must admit the Stormwind blond got my attention! Love a man in uniform!
When I saw the human in the alliance tabard, I knew Matty and Ancient wouldn’t be far behind, drooling!
These ones are great Kamalia! Gosh, you are such the fashionista 🙂
😀 Well, I must confess that I had something of that sort of reaction in mind when I decided to use male models instead of female models for this post 😛
[…] + Sawbones Shirt at all! So until I can assemble all the pieces for this set that I showed as an alternate for Mog Madness Round 2, I’ll be using the dull gold and blue Deepholm leveling set (also the inspiration for my […]
