Last year, I felt cranky about having to re-craft the Winter Clothes and Winter Boots to be able to Mog with them, so I poured all my effort into making Gaudy Winter Veil Sweater kits instead. This year, I figured I might as well fill in that gap in my Wardrobe — I knew I already had the patterns, and I had all the necessary materials squirrelled away in my Guild Bank, too.
Because the Winter Clothes automatically hide whatever pants are being worn and helms, cloaks, shoulders, and belts can now be Hidden, it’s almost possible to make a just-Winter-Clothes Mog. Something must still be done about the gloves though, whether that is Mogging them into something vaguely coordinating or simply not wearing them.
Father Winter’s Helper
Red Winter Hat & Red Winter Clothes with Rotting Handwraps + Jessera’s Fungus Lined Cuffs, Warm Red Woolen Socks, Green Linen Shirt, and Thaumaturgist Staff/Green Winter Hat & Green Winter Clothes with Shimmering bracers gloves & boots, Red Linen Shirt, and Whelp Keeper’s Staff
Who else but a Gnome to show off the best cloth accessories to wear with the Winter Clothes?
I am rather fond of the effect created by using the contrasting colored shirt.
Echo of Winter Veils Past
Green or Red Winter Clothes, Winter Boots, Pirate Sinker’s Gloves + Boneshredder Wristguards, Muramasa, Wine Glass
A Demon Hunter can, if they choose, look almost completely normal — no horns, no tattoos — allowing us to glimpse the person Kiralaira was in years gone by — before the orcs, before Arthas, before Illidan — when she was still an ordinary quel’dorei, living in Silvermoon and occasionally visiting Dalaran on business. The eyes, though… even with the Barbershop, there is no going back from that part of the Demon Hunter transformation. This veil, however, would have been fashionable for a Winter Veil masquerade party.
Elements of Holiday Cheer
Green Winter Clothes with Bog Epaulets, Unyielding Fists, Brackwater Boots, Zangarra Scepter, and Emerald Shield/Red Winter Clothes with Engraved Pauldrons, Gauntlets of Divinity*, Boots of the Skybreaker, Firecrystal Mace, and Crest of Supremacy
The red version of this outfit turned out much better than the green, I think. The gloves I used are from the original version of Scarlet Monastery; if I didn’t happen to have them, I would have used the Bloodlust Gauntlets.
Unless I have some fabulous idea for a new kit, Kjerstin will go right back to wearing her Ironforge livery when the holiday is over.
Airsick Lowlander “Winter” Clothes
Red Winter Hat & Red Winter Clothes with Emerald Gauntlets & Sabatons/Green Winter Hat & Green Winter Clothes with Bloodforged Gauntlets & Sabatons, Darkmoon “Sword”
Once, Kaumaleia would have thought that these southern continental folk have very nonsensical and totally impractical ideas about what to wear in snowy weather. Ever since her time at Acherus, however, she doesn’t seem to notice cold at all — and these silly clothes do look cute.
Conqueror’s Carapace
Conqueror’s Battlegear with Booty Bay Helm, Burden of Mortality (H), and Mighty Gorian Greatsword
If I ever happened to create a purple elf Warrior — whether a ren’dorei or a dark-eyed kaldorei — perhaps she might wear something very similar to this.
Destroyer’s Fury
Destroyer Armor with Mantle of Fury and Worldcarver
These shoulders are my favorite bladed plate shoulder armor design. The Pauldrons of Resounding Rings from Heart of Fear are my second-favorites. All the rest, to my eyes, look rather silly.

This series of posts began because I set myself a goal to document new Transmogrification outfits in a more timely fashion. As soon as I create a new outfit, I write it up in a draft post. As the weekend approaches, I start working on taking fashion screenshots, processing them, and updating “Things my [Class] Wears” posts. On Sunday — though not every Sunday — I publish the collection of my recent efforts. Then I begin the next “Sunday on the Promenade” draft post.
Occasionally, I have ideas for themed Transmogrification collections that take several months to completely assemble. Thus, some of these outfits might get re-posted at a later date as part of such a themed Transmogrification collection.
If any of you, my dear readers, have kits that you’d like to share, I’d be happy to add you to the show! Just email me your picture(s), along with a list of the items in the outfit. I don’t regularly check my blog email, though, so if you’ve sent me an outfit, please make a comment on the most recent Sunday Mog Show post so that I know to check my blog email for your contribution.
My goodness, these are all great. But gosh, Kam, where are you at!?
That one is extraordinary!
Thank you! 🙂
The Night Elf pictures are in the Well of Eternity dungeon, in the area where the first boss is fought (If you’re not a Night Elf, a Night Elf disguise is automatically applied to you when you enter the Well of Eternity).
Ooh I see, must go 🙂
Blizz does such a good job of projecting attitude with the body stance, I love it.
I know! And I love it when I serendipitously manage to catch a stance that projects a different attitude and mood from the usual stances out of the idle animation or an emote animation.
