Getting the five colors of the Dracthyr Battlegear, with their matching staves, fist weapons, and shields, was Kamalia’s main Mog collection goal for Dragonflight. With that accomplished, and after taking a month or so to wear each coloration for at least one week, I could at last put out the first installment of “Things my Evoker Wears” earlier this week!

Plunderlord’s Prowess
Plunderlord’s Monocle, Plunderlord’s Tassled Spaulders, Duelist’s Crimson Doublet, Plunderlord’s Tabard, Ferocious Gladiator’s Silk Handguards (H), Plunderlord’s Golden Cinch, Sky-Captain’s Masquerade Pants, Harvester’s Court Slippers, Plunderlord’s Fine Rapier, Disciple’s Stein
The Plunderlord tabard was the reward for reaching the final Keg Leg’s Crew (Plunderstorm) Renown level. Where’s the rum-flavored Kaja Cola?
Once the double Plunder bonus for the last week or two of the event kicked in, it was easy as pie for my kiddo to get that last Plunderstorm Renown level and earn the tabard and the title.
Irontide Swabbie
Irontide Raider’s Bicorne, Captain Sanders’ Shirt, Swashbuckling Buccaneer’s Sash, Handwoven Trousers, Buccaneer’s Boots, Torch of Austen, Gnomish Liquid Transfer Apparatus
As soon as I had Kayliddia’s previous pirate kit posted, I thought of this outfit at the opposite end of the pirate pecking order.
Sleek Waveborne Diplomat
Waveborne Diplomat’s Regalia with Twisted Sisters Handwraps, Riven Priesthood Slippers, and Plundered Oracle Fin Staff
The Waveborne Diplomat’s set, including the puffy shoulders, has grown on me as it’s sat in my Wardrobe. I still think the set gloves and boots are pretty silly, though, so I thought I’d try to find some gloves and boots that I might like better. Because the set uses a unique hue of brown, it was easier to find items that would coordinate with the darker of the olive green shades in the stripes of the pants and the lower sleeves.
I’ve been using my Human Mage’s original appearance as her primary appearance again for some time now, so it felt right to change her name back, too. Fortunately, her original name was still available.
Waveborne Wizard
Waveborne Diplomat’s Cavalier Hat, Waveborne Diplomat’s Puffed Pauldrons, Pterroleather Cloak, Waveborne Diplomat’s Vestment, Flowing Aquatic Gloves, Waveborne Diplomat’s Belt, Trader’s Aquatic Sarong, Squirgle’s Deepstone Wand, Bubbling Concoction
I thought I’d try the Waveborne Diplomat hat, shoulders, chestpiece, and belt with the aqua gloves and sarong from the Trading Post. The concept worked out as nicely as I thought it would.
~*~*~
This series of posts began because I set myself a goal to document new Transmogrification outfits in a more timely fashion. As soon as I create a new outfit, I write it up in a draft post. As the weekend approaches, I start working on taking fashion screenshots, processing them, and updating “Things my [Class] Wears” posts. On Sunday — though not every Sunday — I publish the collection of my recent efforts. Then I begin the next “Sunday on the Promenade” draft post.
Occasionally, I have ideas for themed Transmogrification collections that take several months to completely assemble. Thus, some of these outfits might get re-posted at a later date as part of such a themed Transmogrification collection.
I came back to make sure I didn’t miss any outfits and I find I missed a name! Kamalisaura!
Well, I haven’t really done much with my Dracthyr, so it’s not so surprising that you missed her name 😛
